It's been an hour later and in the past hour, all I got done was unpacking one suitcase and catching up with Raven which just consisted of her talking about all the hot guys she found.

We lost track of time until I turn my head to look at the small vintage clock I got at an antique shop over the summer. "Shit it's 6:24 we gotta go." I stop what I'm doing and quickly put on my worn-out black high top converse that I adore with all my heart. Raven does the same and we run out the door.

We turn left toward to elevator that is slower than me in the mornings. Raven presses the button about fifty times until it eventually opens and we both go in and I press floor one where the auditorium is located.

After what felt like ages the steel doors slide open and I sprint out not even caring about Raven. Headmaster Sullivan hates tardiness that's the only reason I'm using my legs right.

I check my apple watch on my left wrist and see it's 6:28, just in time. Raven catches up to me and we make it to the doors that were wide open for students to come in. We both make our way to the third year section. I gaze at the crowd to find the smartass I haven't seen all summer, Griffin.

I met griffin on my way to class during my first year. He's the funniest person in this school hands down. He always managed to cheer me up whenever I was going through one of my depressive episodes, or whenever Raven or I were on our periods he would always make sure to make us laugh and bring us chocolate. Griffins the most adorable guy I've ever met. He's also friends with everyone at the school, I mean everyone. I'm pretty sure he even gets along with the fish in the pond outside.

It's no surprise I see him in the front row with two empty seats next to him. I run up to him and give him a tight hug. "Hi you giant," I tease him since he's over a foot taller than me. "I missed you to marshmallow," he breathes out. I certainly didn't miss him calling me marshmallow, that's for sure.

"I didn't really, kinda forgot about you if I'm being honest," I joke. That's all we find ourselves doing, I don't think I've ever had a conversation with him without one of us making a joke. Raven and I take our seats, I sat in the far end that way Raven and Griffin could say hi.

Shortly after the doors close and Sullivan comes out from the side of the stage making his way to the middle of the stage.

"Welcome students to another year in Granite bay, for those who are new I am excited you're here and can't wait to meet you all. First off I want to introduce to you all to two new third-year students who will be joining the rest of the third year class this year so I expect all third years to welcome them with open arms."

This should be fun.

"First off please welcome Vivian Lodge," Sullivan says as a pretty blonde walks across the stage and makes her way to the third-year section. As she walks her silky blonde way bounces off her shoulders and everyone's eyes were on her. Not my type though, blondes are too clueless for me. She sits down at the two empty seats in the last row as the crowd slowly makes their eyes on Sullivan again. She seems like an interesting person to befriend.

"Next up please welcome Blake Cadwell." The asshole who bumped into me earlier comes out.

What the fuck.

Every girl's eyes are looking straight at him as he walked off the stage and towards the third year section. This fucking asshole, I'm so done with school.

When he got off the stage he gazed at the crowd of all the third years and found me sitting down with a blank face and angry eyes, looking at him. His eyes meet mine and this man had the audacity to wink at me. Who the fuck does he think he is!? I stopped eye contact with him and instead looked at the carpet floor.

Words can't describe how furious I was.

This year is just going to be splendid.

"That fucking ass," I mumble to raven who is seated next to me.

"I mean he's not really my type but I wouldn't call him an ass," Raven mumbles back to me. "What- no not that. He bumped into me when I got here and just left like it was nothing." I tell her.

"Oh then in that case yeah he's an ass!" she responds back with a higher tone.

"Yea what an ass!" A voice behind her interrupts. With no surprise it was Griffin. "Wait who's an ass again?" He questions. 

"Blake, the new kid," Raven answers.

"Oh, did you guys know he's Zach's new roommate?" Griffin says.

Wait what? 

Zach is Griffin's younger brother who hangs out with us sometimes. We got along pretty well but he's not a funny as Griffin and he keeps things to himself, which is expected because the youngest sibling is always the funniest, I don't make the rules. Zach always let us have fun and he would make sure we always got to our dorms safely after having to much to drink.

"Yeah, I thought you guys knew, whoops." Griffin murmured out.

This can not be happening.

The assembly consisted of Sullivan repeating the same words he states every fucking year.

No eating in your dorms

Curfew is at 10 pm

No leaving school campuses on weekdays

Can't be late for class

Dress appropriately

The list goes on and on. No one bothers to pay attention except the first years. After an hour of excruciating torture, the assembly comes to an end and students quickly jump out of their seats and run to the door to get ready for the unofficial back to school party students host every year in the creepy basement of the school.

Griffin always slips the janitor a 20 to look the other way. It also helps that Jerry hates his job.

Raven and I get out of our seats and head back to our room to start getting ready even though we always arrive an hour late because that's when the party actually starts. Griffin stays back to meet some of the first years, like always.

Blake wasn't in his seat when I left, he's probably off to go meet some girls to hook up. He looks like the type. It's not like I care, he can talk to whoever he wants. All he is is an asshole.

A/N

Sooo we have some new characters introduced.

Livs and Zach's board will be up hopefully by tomorrow with a new chapter!

Oh also from now on I will try and make the chapters longer, just depends on how the story flows:)
