The mission

Chapter 7

    "Why does this ship have to be so big?" Scarlett complained as they entered another inside section, she listened to Chris and Sheva talk as they walked. She didn't feel the need to comment on Uroboros and the fact that if it got out the world would be thrown into more chaos than it already was in. They got to the bottom of the stairs Chris told them to wait and went and began checking a live feed of a plane, she and Sheva walked over to him and they all realized that was how Wesker was planning to set the virus onto the whole world. They caught sight of Wesker on the screen and he was standing on a balcony overlooking the plane. As they turned to leave the room to go after the man Chris's phone began ringing and he pulled it out and Jill could be seen on the screen. She told them that the virus that he used to become powerful like he was, was unstable and that if they injected him with too much of it then it would overwhelm his body.

"Hello?" Scarlett answered her own phone when it too began ringing. Somehow it had managed to only crack a little in the top left corner of the screen from all the damage she had taken earlier.

"Scarlett, you need to get the hell out of there, he's not going to let you go again if he catches you!" She heard Ada's frantic voice and frowned. She figured the woman had somehow hacked into the cameras and had seen everything that had went on in the past day or so.

"I can't, I have to finish this. Ada listen I have a question." Scarlett said back as she walked a short way away from the other two, so they didn't hear her conversation with the spy.

"Trouble, you don't have time for this. Get the hell away from him as fast as you can." Ada said using her nickname and Scarlett sighed softly.

"You know I can't just leave Chris to deal with this. I need to know if this is the real Wesker, Ada has he found a way to clone himself? This doesn't feel like the real him, the Wesker I met years ago didn't have to inject himself with a virus to stay strong." Scarlett said and she heard Ada pause on the other end.

"I don't know. He could have but I'm not sure if who you're fighting is really him or not, in all the time I worked for Wesker he never had to inject himself with anything unless he wanted to try and become more powerful but no he never had to do it to stay the way he was. Like you his body bonded with the T-virus but he never tried to use G." Ada said and Scarlett's heart sank, there was a really big possibility that this man wasn't the real Wesker and that fact scared her.

"Ada, I'll call you when I get the hell out of here after we kill him." Scarlett said finally and she heard the other woman sigh.

"Trouble, keep yourself safe and don't do anythi..." The call was disconnected in the middle of Ada's sentence and Scarlett heard a deep male voice on the other end laughing.

"That woman always butts in where she doesn't need to be. I see that you've figured out that wasn't the real me Darling, good luck with him I'll be watching." The line went dead and Scarlett felt sick, she had been correct but didn't know how it was possible. She also knew that if she tried to bring it up to Chris, he wouldn't believe her without proof. She went back over to the pair and chewed her lip softly as she walked back over to the pair as Jill said the name of what he used to keep his power level up and Scarlett pulled the vial of liquid from her pocket. She handed it to Sheva who looked over it before storing it in her own pocket, Scarlett had given it to her so that if Chris needed help holding the man, she'd be able to do so while Sheva could inject him with the serum. Chris lost connection with Jill and they all decided to move on, after the man.

"If the plane gets shot down his plan is in action either way." Scarlett said as they got into the elevator when Sheva mentioned the plane again. When they got to the next floor, they heard that there was a fire in the engine room. They all groaned at the timing and the fact that men were trying to kill them as they went toward where they needed to get to. Scarlett sighed, irritated when her shoes got wet when they dropped down a ladder only to go up another one on the other side to get further into the room. They hit a switch to open the secondary bulkhead door and took out more men as they waited for it to open. They ran through and Scarlett was blindsided by a man with a stun baton. She screamed as the electricity ran through here body and Chris killed the man who had done it to her.
