Summary: Schlatt sent Quackity on a quick mission, resulting in Quackity getting a bit hurt. He didn't think Schlatt would care, so he didn't tell him aboht his injuries. Turns out, he was wrong.

Warnings: Little bit blood and talks of minor injuries.
Also, there are people who put warnings for Schlatt, but I don't think there's a need to do that. I support Schlatt and I love him so-

Quackity wandered into Schlatt's office. He had just got back from doing the task Schlatt had given him. It consisted of him taking back a weapon that Dream had stole from Schlatt, and Schlatt needed it back.

Little did either of them know that Dream was going to home.

Quackity managed to get the object needed.

Though it did end up with the beanie wearing boy having a couple of small slashes on his face. Dream was not messing around.

However, the scratches weren't that bad at all, but they were bleeding a bit. He had a slash across the bridge of his nose and one across his lips.

Now Quackity was back, weapon in hand. He looked around Schlatt's office and saw the goat man was not there.

The boy sighed. A part of him was going to ask the other for help with his injuries. The other part, however, went against that. He did not think Schlatt would care and just tell him to piss off.

Quackity decided to leave the weapon on Schlatt's desk, then heading to the bathroom to clean his wounds himself.

He was never the best at medical aid. Most of the time, he'd just sloppily wrap bandages around it, then hope for the best. However, with the gashes on his face, he couldn't just wrap them. He was not sure if they needed stitches or the proper bandages for it.

All he could do now is just clean them and hope for the best.

. . .

Schlatt had gone out to speak with Tubbo for a moment and was just heading back to office. Upon entering, he noticed that the weapon he ordered Quackity to retrieve was placed on his desk.

The man smiled faintly, happy that the kid was able to get the object easily.

But where was the raven head boy?

Schlatt looked around and noticed the bathroom door was open a crack and the light was on.

"Quackity?" Schlatt called out.

"Yeah?" A voice called back, confirming to Schlatt that Quackity was indeed back.

"Just checking that you were here." The man replied, walking to the door. "How'd it go?" He asked through the door.

"It went fine. I was able to get it."

Schlatt tilted his head in confusion. The boy's answer was oddly vague. "Are you alright?"

"Yeah-" Quackity's answer was cut off when Schlatt heard the boy hiss in pain.

It worried the goat man.

"Quackity. I'm coming in."

"No!" Was the quick response. Too quick. Which rose Schlatt's concern even more. "It's fine. I'm fine."

"No, I'm coming in." Schlatt didn't give the boy a chance to answer and walked in. The scene startled him.

Quackity was holding a damp paper towel to the gash that was across his nose. Blood was seeping into the paper towel and the littlest drop was dropping from the cut on his lip.

"Schlatt! G-go- get out! Please." Quackity exclaimed.

Schlatt didn't leave. Instead he moved forward, closing the bathroom door. "Quackity, what happened?" He asked, a softness in his voice that rarely anyone heard.

"N-nothing." Quackity dismissed. "I'm fine."

Schlatt gave the boy a stern look before taking the paper towel away to get a better look at the damage. "Quackity. What happened? Tell me."

"It's nothing, really. It just happened when I was getting your weapon."

"Who did it?" Schlatt asked, the gentleness in his voice returned. He opened a drawer and took out some disinfectant and some adhesive bandages.

". . . Dream. He was home." Quackity hesitantly answered. "I didn't know he'd be there."

Schlatt, who had begun pouring a bit of the disinfectant onto some gauze, paused for a split second. "He attacked you." He stated coldly.

Quackity nodded. "I'm sorry." He said quietly. The tone in Schlatt's voice made him nervous.

Schlatt noticed this. "No, no. It's not your fault." He said as he dabbed the gauze on Quackity's cuts. "If I knew he would be there, I wouldn't have sent you. I thought he was with George or Sapnap."

Quackity winced at the stinging sensation but stood still. "I got it though."

"I know, but you got injured. You know Dream. He would have killed you." Schlatt mentioned as he took out the bandages and began applying them. "Why didn't you come and find me when you got back? I know how horrible you are with taking care of injuries."

Quackity shrugged. "I didn't want to bother you." The boy admitted. "Plus I uh, I didn't think you'd care. The injuries were minor."

Schlatt stood back as he finished placing the bandages. "Why- why would you think that?"

"I dunno. You just, it's hard to approach you sometimes." Quackity replied, looking down. He should shut up. He doesn't know why he was saying this. He feared Schlatt was going to get angry, and he didn't like when he was mad. "I'm sorry, I shouldn't have-"

Quackity's words were cut off when Schlatt pulled him into a tight hug. Quackity stopped talking and he stood in shock. He slowly put his arms around the other. The comfort hit the boy and he buried his head in the other's shoulder and held on tighter.

"I'm sorry I don't seem like I'll care or help you." Schlatt apologized as he pulled away from the hug. "I do care about you."

"I'm sorry for thinking other wise." Quackity whispered.

"Don't be." The other said as he looked over Quackity's face, making sure he didn't miss any wounds. "Just know, I will be here for you. And I do care for you."

Quackity smiled. "I care about you too."

"Are you hurt anywhere else?"

"No."

Schlatt rose an eyebrow at Quackity, who laughed a bit.

"Honest. I'm okay." The raven haired boy said.

"You'll come to me if you need help from now on, right?"

"Yeah. I will."

"Good." Schlatt said. He stepped back and opened the bathroom door, gesturing Quackity to follow him. He lead him to the office. "You can rest in here. I'll be back soon."

"Where are you going?"

"To see Technoblade."

"What for?"

"Gonna get him to beat up Dream."
