Monday

I woke up hearing the door to our room opening.
I opened my eyes to see Jessica opening the door.
Nev: morning.
Jes: morning, y/m will be here in a little.
I sat up and turned around in bed seeing that Mattia and Aaliyah fell asleep cuddling.
I smiled.
Nev: ok thank you.
Jes: no prob, and by the way the workers are downstairs putting up decorations.
She left the room and Mattia started waking up.
Not too long after, I got out of bed to take a shower and change into:

After I got dressed I got out my curling iron and started curling my hair.
Mattia came in the bathroom, with Aaliyah and she hugged me.
Liyah: mommy, I wanna get ready with you.
Nev: ok, hold on because this is hot and I don't want you to get hurt.
Mattia: Liyah, go eat while we get ready and we'll be down soon.
Nev: no, I don't want her to see everything yet.
Mattia: nevermind liyah
He laughed and sat her on the counter as I continued curling my hair.
Mattia: k but I have to get in the shower though.
Nev: then use the guest bedroom, there's other showers.
Mattia: ok but when I tell you that you should use a different shower, al of a sudden there's an issue.
Nev: mhm
Mattia: tell me why.
I laughed because I couldn't think of an answer.
Mattia: you two are gonna need to leave.
Liyah: "you two are gonna need to leave"
She mocked him and started laughing, which made me laugh as well.
Mattia: you know she got that from you right.
Nev: ok fine we'll leave just let me finish.
Mattia: k.
He went over to Aaliyah on the counter and started tickling her until I was done.
Nev: it's still hot so don't touch it.
Mattia: mhm.
He got his clothes and started the shower as Aaliyah and I left the bathroom.
Nev: ok so abuela will be here soon so you have to go brush your teeth and we'll start on your hair after ok?
Liyah: ok mommy.
We went into her room, she went into her bathroom, brushing her teeth as I got out an outfit for her.
We heard the doorbell ring and Aaliyah got super excited.
Nev: you'll get dressed later tonight because I don't want you getting it dirty.
Liyah: can I go see who it is?
Nev: su-
Mattia: no, I don't want her opening the door.
He walked in the room as I was sitting on her bed.
He was in a suit and his hair was still damp.
Mattia: I'm just gonna let it air dry, yeah?
Nev: yeah it looks better.
Liyah: daddy make sure everything on my birthday list is done.
Mattia: I checked everything off princesa.
We heard people coming upstairs and it was my mom, Nailea and Gianna.
Y/m: where's the birthday girl?
Liyah: right here abuela.
Mattia: where do you guys plan on going?
Y/m: we're gonna take her out for breakfast and do a little toy shopping.
