I parked in the garage and went inside to see Mattia sitting on the counter eating cereal and I was about to go off on him and he knew.
Nev: Mattia? You didn't-
He immediately looked at me as I walked up to him
Mattia: please, not tonight. Aaliyah woke up crying cause you were gone, she had another nightmare about you and trying to get her back to sleep was like hell.
He seemed tired.
Mattia: I tried calling you but it didn't go through, and Devyn texted me telling me you were busy but she just wanted to hear your voice.
Nev: i'm sorry, you look exhausted.
Mattia: did you have a good time at least?
Nev: no I didn't but it's fine.
Mattia: what happened?
Nev: Jabez, we started arguing over text messages he sent, I think mar was right cause I don't trust him at all.
Mattia: y'all started arguing?
Nev: yeah he started talking crazy saying something about Cynthia needing to be home, I don't really remember but it was pure bullshit and I told him off.
Mattia: damn.
Nev: yeah, I just wanna take this dress off and get in bed I am so tired.
I took my earrings off, as we walked upstairs.
I quietly opened Aaliyah's door to see her cuddling her pink build-a-bear.
I closed the door and went into our room, grabbing clothes and changing into a sweatshirt and sweatpants and getting in bed as Mattia was on his phone.
Mattia: look at you, you finally changed in front of me.
Nev: shut up.
