My entry for the Open Novella Contest 2021. This will be the fourth one I've entered, and I'm looking forward to the ride!
One of the best things about the ONC is the support and cameraderie between contestants.
So far the story is based on a single prompt. For once, this one is under the Science Fiction umbrella, but as in all my ONC stories, there will also be a romance and a gay hero.
#76: There are two things keeping this world operating: the clockwork system and the dimension-traveller.
In my usual fashion, I never know what's going to happen next until I write it!
