Calm

Y/n

I woke up and realized the position I was in.

Toby was hugging me. I panicked and tried to wiggle out of the hug but his grip got tighter

"Stay." He mumbled 

I turned surprised, but soon relaxed and stayed in the position.

After a few minutes I heard him wake up and look to me, I looked back at him.

"Oh gosh, I'm so sorry." He said letting go of me. The cool air hit my body, and I was cold.

"It's okay." I said standing up to stretch.

Toby pov

I woke up and felt a warmth around my arms. I looked down and I was hugging y/n.

She noticed I woke up and she looked at me, I blushed.

"Oh gosh, I'm so sorry." I said letting go of her slightly embarrassed 

"It's okay." She answered standing up to stretch. 

"Goodness Toby, what have you done. It's not like she feels the same way, we are just. Best friends." I thought to my self looking to the floor. 

Y/n was packing up her stuff and I went to the bathroom to freshen up, "Oh gosh my face is so red." I thought looking in the mirror. 

I walked back to my room and y/n was sitting on my bed scrolling through her phone. I tried best not to look at her. 

But she looked to me and smiled, "I'm gonna get going now, we can hang out later!" she said standing up. 

Before even thinking, I walked up to her and gave her a hug, a tight hug.

"Is something wrong? You never hug me like this." She asked

"I'm fine, I guess I just wanted a hug." I said pulling away from her. 

"Okay then. Bye!" She said stepping back while smiling. 

She walked out of my room and going downstairs to leave.

Y/n pov

I walked downstairs and waved goodbye to Mrs and Mr. Smith

As I was stepping outside, I couldn't help but think what happened last night, why did Toby hug me so different this morning. Eventually all the thoughts left my mind once I approached my house.

I grabbed my keys and opened the front door slowly.

My sister was sitting on the couch watching tv, but I didn't see my parents.

"Hello y/n, Mom and Dad are out at the store, they will be home soon." S/n said looking to me.

I looked back at her and nodded walking upstairs to my room. 

I flopped right onto my bed and just laid there. My eyes closed and no feeling at all through my body. I knew I was supposed to be thinking about something but I just couldn't.

Eventually I flipped over and faced the ceiling, my thoughts came back to me. 

"Toby. Toby? Toby. What is wrong with me. Do I like Toby? I think I do. But what's the point? He doesn't like me back. Why do I miss his hug? Why."  So many thoughts flew through my mind, it was too much so I closed my eyes.

But closing my eyes didn't help, I just saw Toby.

I walked into the bathroom and washed my face. I looked to myself in the mirror and then wiped my face.

As I walked towards my room I heard the front door open, it was probably my parents. I continued to walk to my room and I laid back down on my bed.

After a while I sat up and logged onto my pc. Toby was streaming.

 I clicked into Minecraft and logged onto Hypixel. I decided to play some bedwars.

Time Skip

"Y/n come eat dinner!" My mom called from downstairs.

I logged off Minecraft and walked downstairs. 

A bowl of spaghetti was sitting in the table for me. S/n was sitting in the chair next to it eating her bowl of spaghetti. I took a seat and started eating.

"So, we are thinking about visiting California (where you used to live)" my mom spoke

I looked up to her surprised, I really wanna visit my old friends.

"Oooo, that would be nice." I replied, s/n nodding with me.

"Alright, how about next month?" My dad asked, s/n and I nodded while continuing to eat our dinner.

I finished up my food and went back to my room. I laid down on my bed and my phone started ringing.

Toby wanted to FaceTime, I answered still laying down in my bed. 

"Hellooooooo." I heard a voice call out from my phone

"Hello Toby." I answered pointing the camera towards my face. He smiled and started a conversation.

We went from talking about school, to talking about food, then Minecraft. We were talking for hours. 

Toby was eating a hot pocket while I was playing Minecraft listening to him speak.

 It was around 11 pm now, I logged off of Minecraft and grabbed my phone bringing it to my bed. Toby was still in his kitchen eating snacks. 

Toby noticed I was laying down on my bed.

"Are you gonna go to sleep now?" He asked

"Maybe, but I'm still gonna stay in call with you." I said looking to the camera, he smiled and brought his phone upstairs to his room.

"I'm gonna get to visit California next month." I said 

"Oh that's cool!" Toby said looking to me.

"Yea, I get to visit my old friends." I spoke

"I didn't know you had friends." Toby said laughing

"Shut up." I replied with a mean look.

We started talking about Hollywood, the Golden Gate Bridge. Our conversation soon led to us talking about outer space.

Toby started telling me lots about astronomy and the Solar System. Listening to him speak was very calming.

I soon started to feel my eyes close, and I drifted to sleep. 

Time Skip to Next Day

I woke up to the sun shining in my face, I noticed Toby was still on the call, but he was sleeping. I couldn't help but stare at his face. 

He started to stir in his sleep and his eyes opened.

"Good morning Toby." I quietly said into the phone.

"Good morning." He replied in a sleepy voice. (SLEEPY VOICE)

I blushed a little but quickly looked to my ceiling away from my phone. 

"Hey, I'm gonna leave the call now." Toby said standing up.

"Oh okay! Talk to you later." I replied ending the call. I dropped my phone on the floor and laid back in my bed.
