Sleepover

Time skip 2 months 

3rd person, omniscient 

Toby and y/n have been friends for 2 months now, and they continue to get closer.  Y/n has started school, and Toby has been their by her side to help her out. They started having lots of sleepovers and did so much together. But y/n felt something different about their  friendship from the last 2 times they hung out, but y/n couldn't put her finger on it, Toby also felt something different about their friendship, but he never realized what it was. 

Y/n pov

"Toby and I are gonna have another sleepover today." I muffled, stuffing a pancake in my mouth.

"Okay, you and Toby have had a lot of sleepovers this past month." My mom replied

"Well he is my best friend." I replied in a sassy tone glancing to her.

She chuckled and turned around to wash the dishes. I placed my plate inside the sink and went upstairs to my room. 

"I should probably take a shower before I got to Toby's"  I thought.

I grabbed my towel and a change of clothes and walked over to the bathroom. 

Time skip

I got out of the shower and changed into my clothes. I had all my stuff packed so I dried  my hair with the hair dryer. 

I slipped on my shoes and brushed my hair. 

Walking downstairs I noticed my dad sitting at the couch watching tv, and my sister eating fruits at the table. 

I waved them goodbye and walked out the door. It was a very short walk to Toby's house, because he lives next door. I was just carrying my backpack and my sweater.

I knocked on the door, and Toby answered it. He smiled and let me in. 

I waved to Mrs and Mr Smith, and followed Toby to his room. 

Toby and I decided to play some Minecraft together. I watched him play on the "Dream SMP" which I still had no idea what it was about, but it looked very interesting. 

After a while of playing, we decided to go get some food. We went to get (insert random food) and walked over to the pond to eat our dinner. 

Toby and I fed the ducks some bread, and we watched them fight over it and splash around in the pond. It was very calming. 

Eventually it got pretty late so Toby and I decided to go back to his house. We arrived at his house, and I immediately went to the bathroom to change into my pajamas. After changing, I walked into his room and he was already dressed in his pjs. 

"Do you wanna watch a movie?" Toby asked, I nodded

"Hmm, what movie?" Toby questioned looking to me smiling.

"Let's watch....... MULAN!" I answered, he nodded and turned on the tv in his room.

I took a seat on his bed, and he walked downstairs to cook some popcorn, I was scrolling through Instagram  and saw some photos of him. I smiled scrolling past them, slight blushing. 

"Why is he so cute." I thought to myself.

 I slowly realized my thoughts and scrolled off of Instagram.

Toby came back into the room with a bowl of popcorn. He took a seat right next to me and turned on the movie. 

Mulan is a very good movie, I've watched it a few times before and enjoyed watching it again. 

Since it was pretty late I started to fall asleep. My head fell onto Toby's shoulders as my eyes closed. 

Toby pov

I noticed y/n was slightly falling asleep, but she kept sitting up when her eyes started to close. I put down the popcorn and covered myself with the blanket. 

I continued watching the movie, but then I felt a something on my shoulder, or someone. It was y/n, she had fallen asleep. 

I smiled, and felt my face get extremely red, "What is this feeling right now? How come my heart is beating so fast? Why is my face warming up? Why can't I help but smile when I see her face..." I thought to myself.

Eventually I calmed down and leaned my head on hers. The movie just ended and I turned off the tv. I moved a little bit to lay on my pillow, hoping I didn't  wake up y/n. 

Y/n pov

I slightly woke up a little bit from the feeling of movement on my head. My eyes were still closed but I could tell that I was laying on Toby. I blushed a little bit not knowing what to do, but I kept my eyes closed. 

I moved my body to turn the other way pretending that I was still asleep. But I felt  arms wrap around me. It was Toby. 

Toby pov

Y/n turned to the side, and I felt a bit of emptiness with her not laying on me. I turned towards her and decided to hug her, or even cuddle if that's what it's called.

I panicked a little, but slowly calmed down.

Friends cuddle.... right?
