Y/n pov

I woke up to a warm feeling around my body, I went to sat up but was pulled back down. I looked back and saw Toby hugging me, he was sleeping so peacefully and I didn't want to wake him up so I closed my eyes and hid my face in his hoodie.

I soon her him wake up and I looked up to him, he looked down to me.

"Good morning beautiful." He spoke, I smiled and hugged him tight

"Good morning."

I sat up and stretched 

"I'm gonna head home." I spoke yawning

"Oh, alright." He said with a bit of sadness in his voice

I  gave him a small peck on the cheek before walking downstairs to the front door. I said goodbye to Mrs. Smith and walked our the front door.

As I was walking to my house, I noticed my moms car pull up in the driveway. I didn't think much of it until I saw a third person in the car.

The car doors opened and I saw my sister, my mom, and my cousin (Max). My eyes widened.

"WHAT!" I shouted, running to Max and giving him a hug.

"Hello Y/n, haven't seen you in forever." He spoke with a laugh patting my head and returning the hug.

Before we moved to the UK Max and I were really close. He is my favorite cousin. We used to do so much together, we even went to the same school. He's also the same age as me. 

"I missed you so much." I spoke

"Me too." He said as we pulled away from the hug

"What are you doing here anyways?" I asked

"He's here to celebrate your 17 birthday with us!" S/n spoke smiling

I smiled and gave him another hug. My birthday isn't until next week, so he must be here for a while.

"Let's go inside." My mother spoke opening the front door.

I decided to text Toby

Hm, he didn't reply. He's probably busy.

Time Skip

Max and I went for a walk to the park.

"Hey Y/n?" Max spoke, I looked to him

"Bet you can't catch me." He spoke and started running

"Oh no you don't." I said laughing and chasing after him

He was a track runner and I don't even play sports, I just play games all day and watch movies. 

I was eventually able to catch him and I jumped on his back

"HAHA, CAUGHT YOU." I yelled laying down on the floor to rest, he fell down beside me

I sat up and scanned the park, I noticed Toby hanging out with his friends.

"Hi Toby!" I yelled waving to him, he glanced to me and then looked away.

Why is he ignoring me?

"Think we should head back? Your mom mom should be done with dinner." Max said

"Oh yea, let's go." 

"Everything alright?" He asked

"Yea, everything is fine." 

Time Skip to next day

The sun shined through my window as I woke up. I grabbed my phone and saw that I had no messages. Usually Toby would text me. So I texted him

Good morning! Luv you :)

Still no reply, I wonder why.

I decided to ignore it and walk downstairs. The smell of bacon and waffles filled the room. I noticed S/n, Max, my mom, and my dad all sitting at the table. I took a seat next to them.

My mom served us food and we ate.

"So Max, wanna go shopping??" I questioned knowing he loves going shopping with me

"Uhm yea, of course!" He spoke eating the last bit of bacon he had on his plate.
