Why

Y/n pov

I looked to him, he smiled. 

He grabbed my face and kissed me. I was in shock, I couldn't feel anything. I didn't know what to do.

He pulled away from the kiss and I zoned back in. I looked to him with wide eyes. He was now smiling very awkwardly.

I stood up, and started running. There was a gas station nearby, so I ran there. I pulled out my phone and immediately called an Uber.

James pov

"I like you." I spoke, staring into her eyes waiting for an answer.

She looked back at me, I smiled. I decided to make a move, so I cupped her face with my hands and kissed her.

Seconds later I pulled away to look at her face. She looked frozen. It was awkward, I smiled  to her in a weird way, she stood up and started running.

I was about to go run after her, but she was to far off into the sunflower field.

I felt my heart break. Did she not like me back?

Millie pov 

I stood behind a tree with Zac, Mason, and Ciara. We were all watching James confess his feelings for y/n.

I looked over and they were kissing. I took a photo and immediately posted it to Twitter.

Right as I posted it, I was tapped on the shoulder by Mason.

I looked up and saw James alone. Zac was pointing far off into the field to where I saw y/n running. 

Ciara ran after y/n.

I was surprised, I thought y/n had liked James back. 

We ran over to James and I gave him a hug. He looked so sad.

We comforted him and I forgot about what I had posted to Twitter.

Ciara pov

James kissed y/n. I cringed looking at that. I knew y/n didn't like him. I knew she liked Toby. But there wasn't anything I could do. 

Millie was typing something on her phone, and then I noticed y/n running off into the field. My eyes widened as I immediately ran after her.  Forgetting about everyone else.

I had to go help her, she was my best friend. 

Y/n pov

The Uber came and I hopped into it, directing the driver where to go.

I sat back in the seat and took a deep breath, sweat dripping down my head from running. I looked out the window and saw Ciara running towards the gas station.

She didn't notice I was in the car, which was good. I didn't feel like talking to anyone.

He kissed me. He really kissed me and told me his feelings. But the thing about that was I didn't like him back.

Small time Skip 

The Uber driver stopped at a hotel. I didn't know anywhere else to go, so I called Eret. I knew he lived in LA, maybe he could come pick me up. Eret and I had become very close over the past month, he was like an older brother to me. 

The phone rang, and he answered it.

"Hello? Y/n?"

"Eret, could you possibly pick me up in LA?"

"Oh, uhm yea sure. Where are you?" 

"I am at the Marriott hotel."

"Alright, I'll be there in 5 minutes."

He ended the call, and I took a seat on the bench outside the hotel.

Time Skip

I saw Eret step out of his car, and I ran to him giving him a big hug. 

He hugged me back.

"Are you ok?" He asked 

"Not really." I replied 

We stepped into the car, and Eret started driving to his house.

"What's up?"

"Well uh." It was hard for me to speak.

"C'mon, you can tell me."

I finally told him all that happened, he didn't seem to surprised but asked multiple times if I'd be ok. 

"Hey Eret, is it ok if I stay over at your place? My parents are out visiting friends, and I don't think I wanna go back to my friends right now."

"Yea of course, Elaina would love to see you." 

I smiled, I loved Elaina, she was such a great person and she was really cool.

We arrived at Eret's house, and I greeted Elaina. 

After a while of talking, I went into the guest room and immediately fell asleep.

Tommy pov

I was just going through Twitter, like I always do. But as I was scrolling the name y/n popped out for me, and I Immediately tapped the tweet.

I scanned the photo and looked closer. It was y/n. And she was kissing a guy. 

My eyes widened. I knew Tubbo liked her. She was all he would talk about in our calls when we weren't streaming. 

What will he think when he sees this photo? I thought y/n liked him back, it was obvious. But this photo shows her kissing another guy.

Toby pov

I scanned the photo and noticed it was y/n. She was kissing someone else. She was kissing that boy. The boy who had his arms around her in the photo. The boy who showed up on her FaceTime. That boy who's name is James.

I felt sadness come across my body. I really liked y/n, but it was too late for me to tell her. She was already kissing another boy. 

I didn't feel like talking to anyone after that. 

Tommy messaged me a few times, and so did Niki, but I just left them on read. 

As I fell asleep, I couldn't help but think.

"Why?"
