"Y/N we are leaving now!" My mom shouted from downstairs 

I grabbed my bag and phone and walked downstairs.

"Got everything?" My dad asked

"Yep." I replied slipping in my shoes.

We packed up our stuff in the car and started driving towards the airport.

I'll miss you too! Have a safe flight.

We got to the airport and went through security.

It took us a while to find our gate number, but eventually we found it. 

I scrolled through my phone while my mom and sister went to the stores at the airport. 

I messaged my old bestie.

I turned off my phone. I was so exited to see my friends. I wonder how they are doing. 

(Your old friend group was Ciara your old bestie, Millie, Zac, Mason, and James) 

My mom and sister came back just as our flight was called to board.

I took a seat by the window and my sister and mom sat next to me. I looked to the window really exited to visit California.

The airplane started and we were descending into the air. I closed my eyes and fell asleep listening to music.

Time Skip

I woke up to tapping on my shoulder

"Hey y/n, we landed." S/n spoke continuing to tap me.

I sat up and fixed my hair. 

Grabbing our stuff, we exited the plane and took an Uber to our hotel.
