All Might told me it was a wound he got from a villain 5 years ago, when he fought a villain called Super Venom Chainsaw.
He said,
"I won't let a thug like him take me down! I haven't told the public about my condition. So I ask you to respect my wishes and take it a secret."
I was still shocked at the moment, but the next words he told me really struck me hard. He said,
"A PRO IS ALWAYS LAYING HIS OR HER LIFE ON THE LINE. SO I JUST CAN'T BRING TO TELL YOU THAT YOU CAN DO IT WITHOUT A QUIRK."
W - what...
The number one hero... The one I idolized the most... Told me that I cannot achieve the dream I had always wanted...
I know Kacchan and at least everyone who knew me being quirkless had been telling me for a long time that I can't become something like a hero...I know it's just a fantasy, and I desperately refused to accept it... But I never expected All Might to even give up on me...
I walked away after seeing All Might leave the rooftop. I suddenly heard explosions at the market I'm near at. I came by habit... To see the heroes... I should just quit already... It's all hollow now...

I saw a frightened woman trapped at a debree in front of the raging villain--

W - why is Mom here? Shouldn't she be at home? Why? Why!?!
I ran towards my Mom and shouted,
"MMOOOMMM!!!!"
The heroes were caught off guard. Mom looked at me. The time she saw me, her face held a frightened and shocked expression more than she already has. One of the police officers nearby stopped me from getting over to her. I struggled to get out of his hold, he told me,
"Please don't go over there! It's dangerous!"
"But my Mom--"
"Don't worry, we'll save her--"
A strong explosion was suddenly heard at the market... And...
It hit Mom.
