Chapter 3: We're From The Future

Naruto was the cutest in my opinion,even though he was actually crying a bit. ( ﾟ▽ ﾟ٥ )

Naruto smiled at Sasuke who was sleeping on a branch of a tree he was leaning on, setting the book down on the grass. He jumped up the tree, watching Sasuke as he slept.

The three have been waiting for Kakashi for about 2 hours now. Sakura was training with her chakra control, they had gotten there early and decided to do a bit of training but after a while. Sasuke had gotten tired and fell asleep, as well with Naruto, the blond had placed Gravity Seals on themselves for training with this they could be like Lee! Naruto silently chuckled at the thought.

Naruto's eyes fixated on Sasuke as he put a hand on his cheek and caressed it, a small smile made it's way to the blond's face after removing his hand from the cheek he sat down beside Sasuke as he placed his head on his shoulder, trying to make the raven's nap more comfortable. Sasuke slowly shifted, making Naruto pause all action he didn't want to wake the raven up, and sighed in relief as the raven haired stopped.

He caressed his hair, smoothing out as a leaf landed on top of Sasuke's hair. Naruto smiled once again, bigger this time.  'This is... So cute
....thank you kami' Naruto thanked the Gods as he put a hand on his face as he watched Sasuke sleep with a leaf on top of his hair, snoring quietly. After a while, Kakashi had finally arrived Naruto chuckled and asked "So, what's your excuse today Kaka-sensei?" "I was reading a book up until morning" Sakura made her way towards the others, hearing the excuse their teacher gave made her sigh "At least, that's a bit more honest than the others"

Naruto chuckled louder than the first as Sakura snickered "Well, then since we already finished the bell test we could grab a quick snack before I make my way to the Hokage's office" Naruto smiled and said "Ohh, let's go get some ramen again! I've been craving a bowl since yesterday" Kakashi chuckled "I thought, you said sushi was more your taste?"  "Well, a bowl of ramen wouldn't hurt once in a while Kaka-sensei" "He has a point sensei"

Naruto, Sasuke, Sakura and Kakashi sat down on the stools as they ordered, Sasuke yawned as they waited "Hm, what seems to have tired the poor Uchiha?" Kakashi asked as he looked at the Uchiha's eyes there were small bags under his eyes but before Naruto could explain Kakashi cut him off, trying to guess "Don't tell me you two were at it all night?" Sakura covered her mouth, as the four could hear Ayame and Teuchi choke on air in the background. Sasuke's face reddened in embarrassment, well to be honest he wished it was the reason but sadly it wasn't.

Naruto laughed, as he explained "No,no we weren't Kakashi-sensei don't worry Sasuke stayed up all night trying to think of a way to contact Itachi faster, I had to knock him out to get him to sleep" Kakashi and Sakura made an 'ah' sound as sighs of relief came from Teuchi and Ayame as they served their bowls.

After they ate, Kakashi headed out trying to be early at least once while the three genins headed back to the Training Grounds.
Once Kakashi arrived, everyone in the room was shocked. Asuma laughed to lighten the mood "Woah, Kakashi Hatake showing up early is it the end of the world?" He laughed, as Kakashi chuckled sarcastically.

"Team 7, has passed Lord Hokage" Hiruzen nodded as the Jounin's were surprised once again. 'First, he's early and now he passed a team? What's next??' They all thought (except for Hiruzen, Kakashi and Iruka) "Well, then if that's all I should get going now" Kakashi spoke as he turned around, walking away. "Kakashi, wait" He turned back around with a raised eyebrow and asked "Do you need something else, Lord Hokage?" "Why did you do that?" The room's atmosphere shifted into Jounin's confused and an slightly intense one with the Third Hokage and Kakashi.
