ganyu leaned against your shoulder while you read to her under the tree. she was a slight bit taller than you, so it would be normal that her head would always bump into your neck. it tickled you, but you enjoyed the moments like this with her. as you read, she sang a beautiful tune, just like a beautiful crane flying in the blue sky; her voice was absolutely soothing, like sweet candy on a sour day; like cold coke from the fridge after a hot day.
she was your light.
"...may our differences find us peace between us... the stars that shine above us..." you read from the lines in the book, leaning your head on hers too. you blushed a little when she brought one of her hand to rest on your thigh. she usually did this to you, but you could never get used to this, probably because no matter how many times you two have kissed or hugged, nothing she does to you will ever not take you by surprise or make you blush.
she was too beautiful for her own good; and she was always the light in your darkness. she never pushed you away when you confessed to her that night under the tree in the park; she never scolded you when you broke her favourite ice sculpture; she'd never ignore you even if she was busy with work.
she was always there for you.
"... and under the light from the sun they stood, happy and married. the end." you sighed and closed the book shut while she pulled her head up and clapped her hands gently. she happily smiled at you and giggled when you blushed.
she brought her finger to poke your cheek. "that was a nice story~"
you looked away and placed the book on your side on the grass as you rubbed the back of your neck. "you're nicer..."
