"You look beautiful, sweetie." My mom said, trying to calm me down.

"You sure?" I said before pressing my lips together

"You sure?" I said before pressing my lips together. My nerves were skyrocketing. I simply doubted my decision to get married.

Most people described it as cold feet but I wasn't sure about it at all. I mean, I said yes and I love him to death. Jerome was the best thing that happened to me; the sweetest man on this earth who deserved nothing but the best. Then there was Bryson... my ex. We had gone through hell and back trying to work things out and when I finally gathered up the courage to call it quits, Jerome came around and swept me off my feet.

Don't get me wrong, I'm over Bryson but I don't know if I'm ready to get married.

"Baby you and I both know I would've been on your ass if you were making the wrong decision. I'm just glad you're not marrying—"

"Ma!" I flinched as I cut her off. I knew what she was going to say.

She laughed a bit as she lowered my veil. "Sorry. You look beautiful. I love you." She paced a kiss on my cheek before walking off, leaving me alone in the room.

I brushed my dress down and took a deep breath.

"I can do this. I can do this!"

With that said, I made my way to the church entrance and waited for the song to start. As soon as So Much More by Xavier Omär played, the doors opened, revealing the long walkway. I slowly stepped onto the flowered floor with my bouquet in my hands and smiled when I saw my man smiling from ear to ear. He looked extremely handsome.

The closer I got, the more emotional it got. Jerome eventually shed a tear and I tried my hardest not to ball my very own eyes out as people made small comments.

"She's so beautiful"

"Gorgeous"

"Wow"

I finally made it to the front, greeting my dad with a kiss.

"Who gives this lovely lady to be married today?" The priest asked.

"I do." My father said wholeheartedly.

I walked closer to Jerome, finally facing him. We both couldn't stop smiling.

"I'm shaking." I whispered to him.
