Jungeun turned off her phone to see Jinsol glaring at her expectantly. "What?"

"What do you mean 'what?' you blocked me." Jinsol huffed and crossed her arms, quite adorably unfortunately for Jungeun. She hated that she kept on having thoughts like that about Jinsol but those didn't change the fact she thought Jinsol was an annoying delinquent who was never going to change her ways. "Whatever, Jung. Let's get back to where we were please." This was Jungeun's 6th session with Jinsol and her student had barely progressed. The tutor found it a miracle Jinsol had even got into BBU considering that they do have a minimum grade requirement regardless of how prestigious or rich someone's family was, but that was a question for another day.

"Okay so I was trying to explain to you that we only use the TAN function if they give you these values in the question, and this is the formula you use." Jungeun showed Jinsol the paper like she did every other session they'd had so far, but this time instead of carrying on her explanation she decided to look at the other girl to see if she was even processing any of it. And that's when she saw it. Jinsol was staring really hard at the paper, Jungeun could sense the desperation in her eyes to understand but she clearly couldn't. "Jinsol, do you even get the formula?"

Jinsol looked Jungeun in the eye and gulped nervously. "Uh, of course. I- I just need to practice using it." Something was definitely off with her and if they were going to make any progress Jungeun had to find out what it was. "Really? Because we've tried that a few times now and somethings obviously not clicking." To Jungeun's surprise, Jinsol suddenly stood up and raised her voice, once again gaining attention from Chan and his friends sitting on the table next to them. "Stop talking to me like I'm a complete dumbass. I may not get things as fast as everyone else but that doesn't mean I can't do shit."

"Really? Because you're proving me otherwise so far." Jungeun responded, almost as loud as Jinsol. She couldn't tolerate the older's constant complaints when all she wanted to do is teach her. "You know what, let's just call it a day because you're just not cooperating with me."

"Me?? You're the one who fucking hates teaching me." Jinsol snapped back. "You don't think I notice the eye rolls and the annoyance on your face every time I don't get something? I'm not as stupid as you think." Jungeun felt slightly guilty, she didn't actually think Jinsol was dumb and maybe she should've told her that. "Jinsol, I-"

"Bye Jungeun. I'll see you next week." Jinsol said as she grabbed her bag and left in a hurry. Jungeun sighed and did the same until she noticed Jinsol had left her multi-coloured pen there. She reluctantly picked it up and tucked it in her blazer pocket before leaving too.
