Chapter Twelve

"No, if you want to go so do I." Tommy said and Tubbo quietly nodded and continued running, dragging Tommy along.

Tommy squeezed Tubbo's hand and he squeezed back, trying his best to comfort Tommy.

They ran and ran until they were out of the forest and they had no idea were they where.

"Very important question, did you bring money?" Tubbo asked

"Yup, what about you?"

"I brought some too but we can't spend it all in one go, we need to be careful."

Tommy nodded and started walking again before suddenly stopping, "What the fuck are we gonna do now Tubs?"

"C'mon, let's go find a park or something, we can stay there for a bit."

Tommy nodded and followed his brother, they walked for around an hour and Tommy just wanted to sleep.

It was dark outside and he had no idea what was going to happen.

He just wanted to go back and cuddle Techno or play music with Wil.

"Toms, there's a park over there." Tubbo said pointing ahead of him.

They walked into the park and found a bench to sit down on.

Tommy got out his phone to see he he had so many missed calls and messages from their family, Tubbo had the same.

"You know for people who don't care about us, they sure do care about us." Tommy said coldly as Philza called him again, "I'm gonna pick up Tubs." Tubbo nodded and waited for Tommy to pick up.

"Hello-" Tommy said but before he could get out anything else he heard worried cries coming from Phil.

"Where are you Tommy?"

"Are you and Tubbo safe?"

"Why did you run away Tommy?"

"Da- Phil, we're fine. I love you." Tommy said and ended to call, attempting to avoid the tears which threatened to spill down his face.

"Da-Phil, we're fine. I love you"

"Tommy?" but the call had ended, he looked behind him at Techno and Wilbur's worried faces.

"Dad?" Wilbur said.

"Okay, he just said he's fine and he loves me-" Phil said

Techno's brows furrowed, " What the fuck do we do?"

It had been a couple days since they ran away and it was definitely fun but also terrifying.

They had spent barely any money and eaten barely any food, rationing everything they got.

"We should go and get a blanket or something. It's fucking freezing at night." Tommy said.

"Good idea." Tubbo said, they had been sleeping under piles of clothing and it certainly wasn't preferable.

The boys walked hand in hand to the shops when they heard somebody say their names.

They looked back to see a young girl, with pink hair- Niki.

"Fuck." Tommy said and looked over at Tubbo not sure what too do as she walked over.

"You know your family is worried sick." She said calmly.

"Yup we know." Tommy replied.

"Guys just go home. They miss you." Niki stopped in front of the boys kneeling down.

"Bullshit." Tommy said as he ran grabbing Tubbo but almost as quickly as he had started running, he had been stopped, not by Niki but by a man.

"Hello boys." Wilbur said as he smiled at them.

"Wil?" Tommy questioned.

"C'mon boys, it's time too go home." He said leading Tommy and Tubbo away from Niki, "Thanks Niki!"

"Wil let go!" Tubbo said frantically trying to kick him off, "you don't care about us!"

"That's fucking bullshit."
