I groaned and rolled my head to the side. "Austin?" I heard a nearly recognizable voice ask. I blinked and looked to my left. Cory sat in a chair next to my bed. I scowled.

"Austin, I'm sorry-" "What happened to me." I whispered. He cleared his throat. "You were in an accident. You were walking out of work when an drunk driver peeled in. He hit you and you flew into your truck. Elliot saw the whole thing. He's actually waiting for me to call him. You've been in a coma for a couple weeks." I groaned. So, the amount of time I spent with the bots, I was in the.....

"Phone. Bag. Now." The items were set on my lap. I saw my bag was bulkier then I remember. I ripped it open and saw IronHide's jacket. I yanked it out and inhaled. It smelled of diesel, Curve and....leather. IronHide's smell.

I went through my pictures and saw all the ones we took. "You went through my phone, didn't you." I glared at him. He shrank back. "I just wanted to see if I had to call a boyfriend." I rose an eyebrow. "Do it again and I rip your-" "Aussie!" Ariel yelled, causing a ruckus outside.

Ariel jumped onto my bed and I groaned. She sat back on my legs as a lot of people ran into my room. I saw all my family there. Well...most of them.

"Hey guys?" I was suddenly glomped by tons of bodies. They kept hugging me and kissing me. I felt really awkward and stiff. They pulled away.

I relaxed. "How do you feel?" Aunt Deanne asked. "Like I've been through a war zone." I groaned. Which was true. In Egypt. They all laughed.

I laid back in the bed and saw Cory fidgeting. I cleared my throat. "Cory. Leave." He looked at me. His eyes went to puppy eyes and mine hardened. "I will not fall for your look anymore. You ruined your chance weeks ago. I will not tolerate what you did from anyone." I growled. Gabe grabbed his arm and shoved him out of my room.

"He's been by you the whole time..." Deanne said, confused. "I caught him in bed with another girl. And not any bed, but mine." They all glared the way he went. I nodded and laid back into the pillows.

A nurse came in as Alex and Ariel crawled into bed with me. I let them curl into me under the blankets. I held them close.

"Can they stay tonight?" Kim nodded. "We should head home. It's late." Gabe sat in the chair next to my bed and leaned on my bed. "Tell mom and dad they can fuu....eat fudge if they call." I had shot him a look and gestured to Ariel. Everyone nodded as they left.

"What did you dream about, Aussie?" Ariel asked. I hummed. "Friends. I remember a lot of friendly auras, Ariel. That's all I can tell you. I wish I could have them back." She nuzzled my chest and sighed. "I hope you could." I smiled and kissed her hair. I leaned back into the pillows and set Hide's jacket next to my head and closed my eyes. I really wished I could.

I heard my Phone ringing then it stopped. "Hello?" Gabe asked. "This is her brother. May I ask to whom I'm speaking?" He asked politely. "Uh, ok." I felt him shaking me. "Austin, someone's asking for you." I inhaled and grabbed the phone.

"'Ello?" I groaned. 'Hey stranger.' "Who is thi-ouch! Ariel, careful!" I hissed as she hit my side as she turned.

'It's Lennox.' I had taken some milk and spit it out on Gabe. "What the hell Austin! Swallow the stupid milk! I'm not a walking rag!" I choked on the remnants. He began smacking my back, mindful of my injuries.

'You alright over there?' I coughed. "Yeah. How the hell did you..." I looked at Gabe. "How did you find my cell?" I asked, laying back into the pillows. 'Wheel Jack.' I hummed. "Figures. The bo...y could do a lot." Gabe studied me suspiciously.

'Put her on speaker!' Ratchet yelled. 'The doc bot was persistent when we saw the bandages.' I nodded. "I bet." He snorted and I heard an echo. 'Can you hear me?' I snorted. "No comment." I heard snickers.

'What happened, Austin?' I smiled. "Good ol' Ratch. Always worried for his patients." I heard groans. "Hey! At least he cares!" Ratchet grunted. "You're not going to like it, doc." I heard him sigh. 'Just tell me.' I nodded.

"Well, I was hit by a drunk driver on my way to my car." I heard growls. I held my phone away from my ear as he started cussing.

"Hey! Watch the potty mouth. I have kids laying on me right now." Ratchet vented. 'Start from the beginning.' I cleared my throat.

"Ok. So I was walking out of work towards my car. I never saw it coming, but a drunk sped through the parking lot and slid on the slick cement. He hit me, making me hit my truck. My manager called the ambulance so on so forth. I've been in a coma for probably about two months...." Gabe cleared his throat and I held the phone so he could talk into it.

"She's got a few broken ribs. Road rash. A weird looking injury on her right leg and an injury on her left side. Her trucks drivers window shattered, cutting along her right eye. Her shins are skinned from sliding under the truck." He nodded, signaling he was finished.

'......wow.....' I heard in the background. "Feels like I've been through a war and back." I heard snorts. "How did Jackie get through so quick?" I asked, curiously.

'When you have an anxious Medic with a wrench in his hand behind you, demanding to see if you were ok is very....persuasive.' I heard a new voice. I sighed. "Seriously, Ratch. Leave him alone." Ratchet grumbled. 'I was worried!' He yelled. 'We all were.' IronHide grumbled. I smiled.

"Hi Mr. Grumpy pants!" I heard laughter from the other end. He grunted. I heard my door open and I saw Cory walk in.

"What did I tell you!" I yelled. "Gabe, cover Ariel's ears." He nodded and pulled her off of me. He covered her ears. I turned my eyes on Cory.

"Keep the fuck away from me, you asshole!" I yelled. "I can't believe you have the audacity to fucking face me after what you did to me. I aught to get off this damn bed, rip your balls off and fucking wield them to your damn Dodge. Maybe he'll know how to use them properly!" He glared at me.

"You're hooked up. You can't do jack." I rose an eyebrow. "Oh yeah? wanna make a bet?" I set my phone down and began ripping cords off of me. Machines started going off. I saw him scampering back the way he came. I made it to the door.

"And don't you ever come back, you fucking pit-spawned asshole! Damn coward! My great-great grandmother has more balls than you!" I roared. Doctors and nurses were pushing me back into the room.

"Get back into the bed, Ms. North!" They ordered. "I want to show that idiot what he did to me!" I yelled. I fought against the doctors. I felt a prick in my arm and I felt my muscles beginning to relax.

"We'll take care of him." They put me back into the bed. Gabe was on my phone, watching me. I tried to fight the morphine.

"He put me....through so much..lied to meh....crushed..." The nurses hooked me back up as my vision began to blur into colored blobs. I think Gabe appeared.

"Why you loo so pink, brah." He snorted. "They had to sedate her. Yeah...uh....that probably wouldn't be a good idea right now." I heard. I felt the phone on my ear and Ratchet yelling at me.

"Ratchet the Hatchet needs more gadgets. Prime looks like a lime." I giggled. 'E-excuse me?' I heard people laughing. "Hide looks like a bride! Dino looks like a beano!" I heard the laughter getting louder. "SideSwipe looks like a Buttwipe!" 'H-hey!' Sides yelled That one had everyone roaring in laughter. I was laughing myself to tears. Gabe groaned.

I yawned and rolled my head. "What was she talking about with the-" Everything went black before he finished.
