I woke up with Blake next to me in my bed. I stretched out, mindful of Blake, and noticed the sheets had been changed. I slipped out of bed and scooped up Blake into my arms.

I walked out and saw IronHide sleeping on the couch. One arm behind his head, the other on the floor. His left leg was propped up on the couch while his right was on the floor. He wore my largest shirt, XL, and his muscles still pulled it tight. He had on his jeans from yesterday as well. He was lightly snoring with his head turned into his left arm and his hair was ruffled. In other words, he looked down right attractive.

I walked over to him and placed Blake on his chest. Blake curled into his warmth and I chuckled softly at his cuteness. I placed a blanket over him and grabbed IronHides right arm and placed it on Blake. I kissed Blake's head and walked into the kitchen.

"How are we going to find his alt mode?" Cade whispered. I shrugged. "Do you think you could find out where the burning house was? I still need to see if Blake is truly alone." Cade nodded. "I'll see what I can do." He disappeared as I started cooking breakfast.

I heard a grunt and a heel hitting the couch arm. I looked up to see IronHide look at Blake on his chest. He ruffled his hair and looked up to see me. I smiled and turned my attention to stirring the eggs. He was a huge softie and he fraggin knew it.

I heard him get up as I started frying the beacon. He held Blake in the blanket as he came over. He leaned against the counter and watched me cook.

I heard a small groan. "Mommy?" I turned towards Blake. "Why am I with Ron?" I chuckled. "Cause I had to make you breakfast." He stared at him, confused. My eyes went to concern.

"Has no one cooked you breakfast before?" He shook his head. I turned off the stove and held out my arms. IronHide gave him to me and I marched to Gabe's room. I kicked open the door and he jumped sky high.

"Finish cooking breakfast, you lazy... Bum!" I held back my swearing. I turned and went to the bathroom in my room. I set him down and knelt in front of him. IronHide sat on the toilet seat.

"Blake, I need you to answer me truthfully, ok?" He nodded. "How many times were you fed?" "Whenever I got hungry, I feed myself." I rubbed my face. "Ok....where you....abused?" He tilted his head.

"Did your parents hurt you?" He shifted. "No...." I hummed. "Blake, are you lying to me? Lying is bad." His eyes widened. "Don't hit me!" He cowered into the tub.

"That is the last thing I would ever do, Blake!" I said, sliding to him. "I was hurt by my parents too." He looked up from his teddy bears head. I nodded.

"When I was born, I had bad drugs in me. My mom was a drug taker. My dad was a drinker. Do you know what I mean?" He nodded. "My mom had been taking hurtful drugs when I was in her tummy. But, when I was born, the good people had been watching over my family. My daddy was a bad man. He would hurt us when he got home. My mommy was never a real mom. She liked being friends cause she could never take care of us fully." I sat against the tub and he crawled into my lap.

"When Gabe, Alex and Ariel were born, they had what I had. We had our older brothers and sister looking after us, but when they were gone, no one was there to protect us. My dad locked me in the attic with the bats because I couldn't quiet my baby siblings. Do you know what bats are, Blake?" He shook his head.

I got up and took him to Gabes computer. I looked up a picture of a bat and he screamed, curling into me. I immediately closed it.

"I was no older than you when he locked me in with them. I stayed up there for a very long time. My oldest brother, Josh had gone looking for me. I had nightmares for months. But my older sister, Sarah, let me sleep with her until I was better. There was a time when me, Gabe, Josh and Caleb were playing in the dinning room with the tub lids and cleaner can spray bottles. We'd throw it and try to block them, but I wasn't paying attention. It hit me on the head right here." I touched my forehead right on the hairline on the right side of my head.
