I don't own transformers, just my OC's.

I felt someone touching my neck for a pulse. I groaned as they pressed a little bit to hard. They withdrew their fingers.
"Austin?" I blinked and let my eyes refocus on the figure at the side of my bed. He looked oddly familiar.
"Cory?" I heard a sigh. "No, Austin. It's Ratchet." I blinked harder and my vision focused. It was Ratchet. "Oh." I said, disappointed. I saw sadness flicker in his eyes as I looked away.
"How are you feeling?" I shrugged. "Fine. Like it never happened." He nodded. "I used a treatment I had just made. It worked wonders. All that's left is a scar in just a day." I looked at him. He nodded.
"You've been unconscious for 36 hours." I groaned and threw off the covers. He made a motion to stop me, but I gave him a look.
"I just want to go for a walk. My joints are stiff." He nodded and let me get up. I stretched out carefully and nodded in approval. I grabbed a nearby jacket and put it on over my bandages chest and walked out. I had on my military cargo pants on still with no boots on. I really didn't care at the moment. Nicotine was on my mind.
I walked past groups of soldiers that stared at me. I ran my fingers through my hair and grabbed a lone hat from a table with no tag. I put it on and waltzed out to the smoking area. Right next to the target range.
"Can I have a smoke?" I asked a soldier. He nodded and handed me one. I lit it up and inhaled. I leaned against the wall and exhaled.
"Aren't you that one girl that told off Galloway?" I looked at Williams. "The one and only." They beamed at me as we smoked. "Damn Bastard deserved it." Fliers said. We all snorted.
"I have been wanting to slug his ass for years. Where I come from, the bots are just movies and cartoons. Im from another dimension." They nodded. "We don't care. You get Galloway riled up, you're cool with us." I smiled at them.
"Smoking buddies. Sweet." We all laughed. "What happened?" They pointed at my abdomen. "Ah, took a bullet for a kid." They slapped my arm. "Good for you, Kid." I rolled my eyes. "I'm 20, boys." They snickered.
"Wait till Ratchet finds out in smoking. Gunna be hell." They nodded. "Gonna get a wrench up my ass for it. He ain't called Hatchet for nothing." They started laughing. Williams started making a weird laughing noise and I started laughing.
"Dude, you sound like a dying horse." They started laughing harder and harder as Williams kept laughing like that. I had to hold my side as I laughed.
I inhaled my last drag. "I better go check in 'Cade and Bee." They stopped laughing as IronHide came into view. He saw me and froze. I scowled and threw the cigarette butt into the bucket and walked inside.
I caught Bee in the Autobot hangar. I walked up to him and patted his hood. "You ok, Bee?" He transformed and crouched to my level. He opened my jacket, showing the bandages. He light tapped my tummy.
"Ratchet patched me up just fine. Nothing but another scar." He whined and looked down. I placed my hand on his metal cheek and pulled him to face me.
"Don't be all sad, Honey Bee. I'm alive and walking around." I smiled at him. He whirled and shifted. I heard growling coming from the brig area. I sighed and let Bee go and started walking to the brig.
I walked in and saw IronHide standing near 'Cade's cell. "Let me see her." IronHide snorted. "I don't think so. Frag, I hope she offlines from the infection." I glared at IronHide.
