RECAP

"Are you free, Ms. North?" I stared at the police officer in front of me. He was somewhat muscular. He had his hat under his arm. He wore a black police uniform. The formal one. He wore shades over his eyes. He had black slicked back hair. I saw a scar on his left cheek. I zeroed on on his Name tag.

Barry Cade.

END RECAP

'Austin? Who the frag is it?' Ratchet asked. I grabbed the computer and started turning it around, my eyes not leaving the officer. When I stopped it, he rose an eyebrow.

"Ratchet. Good to see you." I heard sputters from their end. He closed the door and took his sunglasses off. I saw his dusty red eyes for a holo form. I stared glaring at him.

"You, have A LOT of explaining to do. You have one minute to do such. Starting now." I growled, holding a spoon. "I will do what I threatened to do to my brother." I waved the spoon around. He rose an eyebrow. "For some reason, I do not doubt you." He chuckled.

"I was visited by the Primes. They had told me that I was to return. Austin had chosen for Jazz to return because she was selfless. She brought him back for you guys, not for herself. The Primes knew she wanted to bring me back, but she chose against it because it wasn't me you Autobots wanted, but Jazz. She chose your wants over her own wants. They were stunned by a humans willingness to give up their own dreams for another's, let alone for an alien species." He said, glancing at me. "Forgetting her own pain and reaching out to soothe others pains." I crossed my arms and looked away.

"Anyways, I onlined back where I first ran into Austin five days ago. No humans were around. It took me a few days to hear about the crash from passing humans. I searched the local hospitals by, 'pulling some strings'. Found a match to this hospital." He said, shifting.

'That explains your...er....you disappeared so suddenly.' Ratchet hummed. I grabbed the computer and whirled to face me. "And you didn't think that wasn't too important to tell me!?" I hissed. Ratchet shifted. 'We didn't want you to...worry...' I tapped my fingers against my arm and rose an eyebrow.

"I am supposed to be told everything, Ratchet. If I can't be told anything, what us the point of being the Autobot Liaison if I can't be told that Cade's body was gone? Yes, I'll get angry. Of course I'll throw a fit, but I'll get over it." He sighed and nodded.

'I am sorry, Austin. It won't happen again.' I sighed. "It's ok. I understand why you did it. I appreciate the thought. As humans put it, 'it's the thought that counts'." I smiled at him. He relaxed.

"How's Mik holding up?" He glanced to his left. 'She's...holding up. There's been a couple directors coming through every week and she's fired all of them. It's been hard on her. We need you back here or I'm afraid she's going to go 'insane'.' I sighed and let my head fall into the pillows.

"I wish I could. I'd give my life up here to be with you guys. With my siblings of course, but I can't. There's no way back into your dimension! I'd give anything to be with you guys. For once, I felt alive! I felt wanted and needed! Here, it's the opposite. The only people that care enough are Gabe, Alex and Ariel." I said, huffing, trying not to cry out my anger.

"I just can't, Ratch. If I can only see you guys through a damn video chat, that will be enough for me. But I find it unfair that Cade can be here, but not you guys. If Mikaela can't do it, I will do video chats with the higher ups. I'll take her load off her shoulders. Ask General Moreshauwer. He'll understand. No one will know I'm from another Dimension. I have another room extra at the house. Think about it and get back to me. I need to go for a walk." I said, shutting the computer.
