TW: uhh I don't think there is any?

Statement of james may, regarding an encounter in a abandoned house in outer bristol.
Statement begins

I guess this all happened a few months, me and my friends ash, mazly, and max are all fans of the podcast "What The Ghost" no clue if you have seen it but it's really good. Anyway we wanted to do some ghost hunting of our own, since none of us have any licenses for exploring haunted places we had to go with the lower grade stuff.
basically we broke into one of the abandoned houses near the outer portion of Bristol.
It was Ash who first showed us the house, they said they used to live near the house and it had been owned by some rich fat-cat investor way back in the 1930s, but he died with no living family and no one bought the house after that.
It sounded like a good start, I think it took a good few months to gather all the ghost hunting supplies, we had all pitched in to get one of those fancy spirit box's, ended up running us 200 pounds
Bit pricy if ya ask me.
It was early summer when we finally went to the house, Mazly said something felt off that day, but it was one of the only good days in weeks so we just dismissed her saying she must have eaten something off and to take an Advil, we took some pictures and did some readings with the spirit box, most of the rooms where just a basic statice "no ghosts here".
Well except for what must have been the study, our reader went off the charts as soon as we stepped foot in that room, we where all pretty startled for a second, I mean when your spirit box goes from regular statice to all of a sudden playing a whirl wind of different voices yeah anyone would be startled. After the initial scare we where all pretty excited Max was snapping pictures left right and centre.
Because of how active that area was we decided to camp out for the night, I mean what house isn't creepy at night especially when there is probably a ghost in the house.
Mazly and Ash went to grab the sleeping bags we had brought just incase something like this did happen, Max and I stayed to get some more photos. Max wanted to go do a final scan of the house, just for fun, so I decided to change the batteries in our flashlights and cameras, it had been almost an hour and neither Ash and Mazly or Max was back, Max usually gets very exited with stuff like this so I wasn't to worried about him, thought Ash and Mazly I was more concerned about. Our car wasn't that far maybe only a block and the house was really easy to get into so they should have only been 20 or 30 minutes. I called Mazly but it went straight to voicemail, same thing with Ash, I tried calling Max, it didn't go to a voicemail I recognized, instead of his boyish voice saying his usual "hey! ya reached Max, I can't get to my phone right now but if ya level a message I'll get right back to ya!" Instead it went to the voice of what I'm pretty sure was an older woman, she sounded rather posh I'd say saying "I am in able to reach my line, please leave a message" I thought I had maybe called the wrong number, but I called Max's contact and it went to the exact same older woman. I went to go search the house, and as soon as I stepped out of that room my vision changed instead of being in the old dusty abandoned house, I was in a much newer version of the corridor, I could hear voices all around me, from upstairs, from every hallway, it was crazy, I walked into what used to be the the dining room and there were people, but they all looked faded, like I was looking at a polaroid picture, they were dressed In 1930s party clothes I tried yelling but they didn't hear me, I went back to the study, and just like when I went out, when I went in I was back in that old dusty room, and  a minute later Mazly, Max, ad Ash where coming  into the house, I didn't end up staying the night.
I told them I was having a bad reaction to something in the house and I needed to go home. They all bought it and bid me farewell. And that's where it ends I guess.
