I'll never leave

part one

Naruto's pov:

I walked down the street as it sprinkled overhead, I was heading back from a week-long mission with team 7. It was a simple mission, it was our first mission with Sasuke being back. He was really quiet the whole time but it felt comfortable. Sakura was all over him the whole time so he wasn't able to get a word in if he even wanted to. We were able to talk a little bit when we checked into an inn and went to the baths. It was all in all a nice trip and now I get to come home and see my girlfriend. Me and ino have been dating for a while, about a year now. I told this to Sasuke and he didn't agree with it, but he doesn't really agree with anything, especially when I had confessed to him when he first left, but that's a story for another time.

I was on my way to surprise her, the mission came in a rush and I had to leave quickly so I couldn't tell her how long I was going to be gone. She seemed a little different lately so i decided to get her a small gift.

"So you really got her that little toy"

I jumped hearing his voice in my head. 'What's it to you, I thought you didn't like ino' I fired back at the big fur ball, he had stopped talking to me for a while because we had a disagreement. Me and ino kind of stumbled into this relationship and Kurama was kicking the whole way.

"Just because you won't argue with me about...her, doesn't mean i can't argue with you about spending money on useless things"

He said with an annoyed and amused tone. I grumbled 'You're just trying to start up another argument so you can continue to complain about ino' i stated hotly. I was nearing our small apartment while I argued back and forth with the now annoyed fur ball. Before I could turn the knob, kurama cut his sentence short and started a whole new one.

"Kit...don't open the door, you might see something you don't want to..."

I rolled my eyes ignoring the fox's pleas and opened the door, it was dark inside but the light to our room was on. The door was cracked open and there were voices inside. I silently made my way to the door and peeked through the crack. I couldn't believe my eyes, ino was with another man in our bed. She was sitting on his lap, her body blocking his face. She was moaning while she went to unclip her bra, before she could, I threw the door open all the way. "Really!" I yelled, she jumped off the person's surprise vividly on her face. "N-Naruto!" she yelped running for a blanket. "I-i can explain!" she yelled but I held up my hand. "Explain what! you were on another dude's lap!" I yelled. I growled in frustration and stormed out of the room. She yelled after me but I ignored her bursting through the front door. I jumped down the stairs and ran down the street, was I sad no not at all, I was angry with myself.

The once sprinkling was now rain as I walked around. I didn't really have any place in particular to go, the only place I really had was the apartment with ino. Iruka was on a mission of his own so I couldn't go to his place, I would feel like I was intruding anyway. I walked into the academy yard and went and sat on the swing, I don't know why I gravitated towards this spot but I did. I was pissed at myself for trusting in someone like her, I was such a clueless idiot when it came to who to trust.

"Kit..."

I heard kurama's soft voice and I sighed, 'I'm sorry kurama for not listening to you about her,' I said scratching my head in frustration.

I heard him chuckle.

"Its ok brat, next time you better listen"

I chuckled to myself but frowned again. "Hey" I jumped but soon calmed down seeing who it was. Sasuke leaned up against the tree. "You passed me and I spoke to you but you didn't answer so I followed you" he said walking over. "Sorry was kind of lost in thought." I mumbled looking down at the ground. "Why are you out in the rain, I thought you were excited to go home" he asked, his voice was its usual void but this time I could have sworn he was annoyed. "That's a long story..." I said trailing off. I heard him sigh, "knowing you whatever it was you will probably refuse to go home, come one" my head shot up in confusion seeing Sasuke walking away. "What!" I yelled. He turned back around, "i would be angry with myself if I saw you in the rain and let you get sick knowing I could have done something lets go" he left no room for argument as he started walking again.
