chapter 12

Tobi and I walked together through a random town. I had taken off my cloak due to the heat, and I put my hair into a ponytail.

"So, let's talk!" Tobi exclaimed.

"About what?"

"Uhm," he said. "What's your favorite sweets?"

"Dangos."

"Me too! What's your favorite color?"

"Black."

"Oooh, that's a nice color! I like blue!"

"Good choice."

"What's your," Tobi trailed off. "Bra size!"

"Tobi!"

"I'm sorry!" Tobi exclaimed before he erupted into a fit of giggles. I sighed.

"What village are you from?" I asked.

"That's a secret~"

"What about you isn't a secret?"

"Tobi likes dangos!"

"You already said that."

"Noo! Let's go get dangos!" Tobi exclaimed before he grabbed my arm and literally dragged me to the Dango shop. After we got our Dangos, Tobi and I sat on a nearby bench and ate our treat.

"You didn't even try to look at Tobi's face," Tobi said in a confused tone. I shrugged. "I had a friend that always covered his face, so I'm used to it."

"Were you close? Tobi's never had a friend."

I nodded. "Yea, we were close. I used to have a lot of friends," I paused for a moment. "I'll be your friend Tobi."

"Really?!"

I nodded. "Sure, we are gone be partners after all."

"Tell me about your masked friend! Tobi is curious."

"Uh, okay," I said as I stood up and threw the sticks into the trash. Once Tobi and I started walking, I started to talk.

"My masked friend is," I paused for a moment. "Cool."

"Cool like you?"

I chuckled. "Not nearly as cool as me, but cool enough. He has white hair, like an old man, and a scar on his eye, so he looks cool. He covers most of his face, so to others, he's pretty... mysterious?. I'm the only person that's ever seen his face, which is cool."

"Masked man must have had a crush on you, ____-chan!"

I chuckled. "He did. How did you know?"

"Tobi can tell because he showed you his face," Tobi said proudly.

"Ah, I see."

Three days later, we finally made it to the land of stone. Tobi and I shared a room in a small inn.

"_____!"

"Yes, Tobi?"

"Can Tobi look now?"

"No."

"But-"

"No, Tobi."

Tobi sighed as I dried my naked body, then I slid on a pair of panties. When I went to reach for my shirt, I heard giggling. I looked over and saw Tobi staring at me through the hole in his mask and giggling.

"Tobi," I growled before pulling out a kunai.

"TOBI'S SORRY!" He exclaimed before covering his entire head with a pillow. I sighed and got dressed. "You're surprisingly a big perv."
