Chapter 9: Something Stupid

"Tyun, can I talk to you?" the charmer asked as he saw the young fighter playing with poker cards that they bought a while ago.

"Yeah sure hyung." he said while taking his feet off the other chair.

"So what's up? You seem serious." he asked. Yeonjun shaked his head side to side. "Well yeah maybe.." "What is it?" "It's just that, when we were at the mall, I felt like someone are following us."

Taehyun scrunched his brows at the statement. "Following? How?"

"I don't know Tae, I just, felt it." he said. As for Taehyun, he knows that both him and Yeonjun can sense some upcoming scenarios, may it be bad or good, but the older was always the first one to sense bad things, which is convenient for the three con artists. This make him worried a little, "Don't worry hyung just shrug it off. It's just probably people judging us or wants to take revenge. Just focus on the mission for now. " the pink haired just nodded, not wanting to occupy his mind with his thoughts.

Looking around, Yeonjun notices that the younger was alone in the room," Where's Beomgyu?"

"Oh him? I told him to roam around with Soobin hyung on the hotel so we can get Kai and discuss some things for the mission." he said.

"Are you sure they'll be okay?" Yeonjun worriedly asked. "Yeah don't worry they'll be hyung. Those two can shove people a meter away, and I bought them phones."

"Phones? Do they-"

"They will know hyung. I was going to teach him but he said he will be disturbing me, which he has a point." the younger replied.

Yeonjun looked at him in amusement, "Ya know, I am starting to think you are being nice to the merman prince, Kang." he said.

"I don't know am I? I mean, he's not bad as I expected I guess." the raven replied.

The charmer chuckled. "You didn't even realized it huh? Our Taehyunnie is being a softie for a merman prince named Choi Beomgyu. I am so proud of you." he said teasingly while patting the blonde's hair like he was his baby brother.

Taehyun slapped his hand away. "Oh shut up hyung. Am not and I'm not a baby. Stop treating me. I literally think older than you."

"Well at least I don't think like a 30 year old man full of wisdom Mr. Kang."

"Well, at least I don't have a mental age of a 5 year old who can't man up and confess?"

"And to whom?"

"Soobin hyung.."

Feeling defeated, Yeonjun just rolled his eyes and scoffed, "Whatever, let's just go get Kai."

"Where do you wanna go Beommie?" Soobin asked the prince as they are currently OUTSIDE the hotel.

"Are you sure that we are okay outside? Like, Hyunnie told us to explore the hotel, not the outside." Beomgyu said worryingly. Soobin put am arm around his shoulder and spoke, "Relax, not like he care, he can know where ever we are you know. Especially you.." Soobin said whispering the last words.

"What did you say hyung?"

"Oh nothing.."

"But if Tae will not care, then what about Yeonjun hyungie and Hueningkai?" the prince asked again.
