Chapter 14: Give Some Trust

Dr. Monstra stomped his way to his office and ordered some of his minions to call his two stalkers. The two men knocked on his door before entering.

"Where are they?" he asked them making the men flinch.

One cleared his throat. "They are in the hospital right now and it seems like the prince will be staying with the blonde haired member of the gang. The others went back to the hotel including two police officers. There seemed to be another merman with them, close to the prince. Are we going to charge now?"

Monstra smirked darkly, "Nice work. I thought you are gonna be useless spies but here we are. And no, don't charge the prince now. I believe that the one he is with is the fighter." he raised the pearl he found,

"Let's wait for them to go back to Korea."

Taehyun squinted his eyes as the sunlight shone on his face. He was about to get up when he felt a weight on his left arm and he saw a certain black haired boy sleeping peacefully and tirely beside him. Still wearing the suite from yesterday. The blonde looked around and noticed he was not in the hotel but rather, a hospital, he remembered having a severe headache then fainting.

Did he slept here? He thought to himself, seeing the prince tightly holding his arm. He stared at the boy as he observed his features. His long lashes, his curly black hair, his smooth skin and his pink lips pouted as he sleep. The boy swiftly removed the strands covering the male's eyes.

"You really wanted to be my friend huh..." he said, continuously stroking the other's black hair, "It's hard to gain my trust but, I guess you can have some.......... Beomgyu hyung."

The door opened revealing Yeonjun with a bag of food in his hands. The pink haired flinched when he saw the younger looking at him, "Oh, your awake.." he spoked quietly, not wanting to wake the other up. "How are you feeling?" he asked as he placed the food beside his bed.

"Much better than yesterday."

Yeonjun sighed, "That's good. I'll just call the doctor okay?" Taehyun nodded and watched the other disappeared.

The charmer came back with the doctor beside him, "Glad your awake sir. I may have to check your temperature but.." the doctoer pointed at the merman who is still sleeping peacefully. "He was here since your visitors are allowed to see you. He kept on crying last night until he fell asleep."

"Oh......" Taehyun can only mutter.

"I came to ask him if he needs anything but he was crying yesterday so I let him be." The doctor informed while checking his temperature. "He seemed to really care for you. Is he your lover?"

Taehyun unknowingly choke on his spit while Yeonjun secretly laugh at the back, "H-He's not, no he's not, he's just a friend, yeah." he mentally slapped himself for stuttering.

The doctor laughed at him, "I'm guessing there's a 'yet' missing in your statement." he teased, causing for the blonde's cheeks to fall in the shade of pink.

"Your gonna piss him off Doc, but I kinda agree." Yeonjun also teased. Ignoring the younger's death glare.

Taehyun looked away and muttered in his own language, "Big mouth doctor." he said irritatingly.

"Well, you're fine now, compared yesterday. You can go home now. Oh and give this boy food." the doctor said referring to the still sleeping merman.  They thank him and that's where he left. Leaving Yeonjun, Taehyun and Beomgyu on their own.
