CHAPTER 4 : The First Real Conversation

The following morning came like the calm after a stormy night. The neighbourhood seemed to be extra cheery, and for some reason, I felt a tad bit more happy subconsciously too, and then it hit me like a bucket of ice water. 

HARRY STYLES HAD REPLIED TO MY DM BUT I DIDN'T REPLY BACK TO HIM. 

My immediate reaction was to dump my cup of morning coffee and the newspaper, which unlike most people I still loved to read, on the dinning table and quickly picked up my phone. 

So, what should I say? It struck me that I was never good with these stuff, and more so, since this was a celebrity we were talking about. I started thinking.

40 whole minutes and two cups of coffee later, did I finally say aloud to myself, "You know what, suck it up! I'll just go straight out and speak my mind, and if I freak out and start panicking and typing gibberish like a crazy fangirl, then so be it, 'cuz I am one, ain't I?"

So, I opened my Instagram and tapped on Harry's chat. 

ME: Go on a date with me if I am wrong, but the Sun is not a star, r8?

harrystyles: I would, if the Sun doesn't rise in the West!

ME: OMG!!! 

U replied!!!! 

M not freaking out.. 

But OMG!!!! 

Wait, u really r Harry Styles, r8? 

God, this was a bad idea... I shouldn't hv done this dare... 

Now u think I'm a freak... 

Im so sorry Haz, I love u so damn much, but I would hv never sent something like that to u in my r8 mind. 

I blame the alcohol, nd my stupid frnds...

ME: Im really sorry... Nd u can totally block me after this.

(I felt my face go all warm... HARRY FREAKING STYLES WAS GIVING ME A FREAKING NICKNAME THAT NO ONE ELSE CALLS ME, JUST HIM...!!!!!)

harrystyles: Ok, so... Will it be rude if I asked you your age, where you live, who you live with and what you do? 

ME: Absolutely not! 😄

So, I'm 25, 26 in less than a month. I live in New York, alone currently, though my brother drops in quite often whenever he feels. Nd, I am a teacher, I train lil girls music and dance. I hv this dream of becoming a Broadway Star, and I'll audition once my odds r in my favour. 

harrystyles: Thats great... So, you do music, aye?

You compose too?

I hesitated... Umm...

ME: No, not yet.. Maybe one day...

harrystyles: Ok, so I'm really sorry but I have to leave now, I was in the car earlier, but now I have reached the studio for rehearsals. I'll ping you once I am done?

I turned off my phone. Wow, that went well... I tried to push off my excitement, and to move on with my day, since I had to go the studio and prepare the girls for a morning cardio exercise. 

SO, without further ado, I got dressed picked up my car keys, and revved up the engine, when the realisation struck me:

I HAD HAD A COMPLETE CONVERSATION WITH THE HARRY STYLES!!!!
