Twenty-Four

Y/n's POV:

I haven't gone to school in a week, I don't feel like I can get out of bed.

Rolling over to turn off my alarm I smell Kō'a cologne waft in.

Looking up I'm met with big yellow eyes, "Baby owl... I know I messed up, I don't expect you to forgive me. I know valentine's day is coming up and I wanted to make it up to you as much as I can,"

Rolling over and facing my back to him causes him to sigh, "Please let me try again, I'll do anything," He pleads sitting at the edge of my bed.

I ignore him, "Look at me," He gently grabs my chin but I refuse to face him.

"Look at me goddamnit!" He yells at me. He never yelled at me before. Tears brim my eyes as I choke back sobs.

"Hey... Hey... Hey... I'm sorry, I didn't mean to snap at you," He lays down next to me and tries to hold me.

I smack his hand away, "Leave me alone..." I mumble into my pillow.

"No," He grabs my hand, I smack his hand again.

"LEAVE ME ALONE!" I yell at him.

"NO! LET ME TRY AGAIN!" He yells back.

I stand up to walk away from him but he grabs my hand.

"DONT FUCKING TOUCH ME!" I yell at him looking up into his yellow eyes.

He's fighting back tears.

"Please..."

"No! You left me! You left our child! You don't fucking deserve another chance!" I yell at him banging my fists on his chest.

"Don't you fucking talk to me like that!" He smacks me across the face.

"DONT TOUCH ME!" I yell back.

Walking away from him and going downstairs I feel something hit the back of my head, I fall down the stairs and black out.

Keiji's POV:

"I'm ho- Y/N!"

I close the door to see my sister falling the down the stairs and one of her boots hitting the ground shortly after.

Rushing over to her I see Bokuto.

"Get. The. FUCK. OUT. OF. MY. HOUSE!" He runs out fast and I call an ambulance.

There's blood pooling around her lower area and the back of her, further investigation leads to finding out it's coming from her vagina...

THE BABY

After about 10 minutes the ambulance arrives and I get in the back as we drive to the hospital.

~Time skip~

She's awake...

"N/n..."

"The baby... Is the baby okay?"

Tears form at her eyes.

Y/n's POV:

"They couldn't save the baby..." He tells me.

My whole worlds feels like it's crashing down.

Sobs escape me as my whole body shakes, Keiji does his best to comfort me.

"Do you want to press charges?..." He asks softly.

No matter how badly I want to, I can't bring myself to do it. I shake my head and he nods.

"I just wish none of this ever happened..."

He nods his head, "You're gonna go live with Auntie Yamamoto for awhile..."

I nod my head, "Will you come visit?" He nods and kisses my head.

"Of course I will," I smile at him as he wipes the tears from my face.

I can't help but think about the baby...

How Kō is gone...

How I have to leave home...

My whole life feels like it's over...

Slowly I fall asleep while Keiji talks about school and volleyball club...

Volleyball... Kō loves volleyball...

Keiji is my protector... My savior...

Keiji's POV:

Her eyes start to close and I smile.

Her heartbeat begins to flatline.

"NURSE! DOCTOR! SOMEONE! ANYONE!"

Nurses come into the room and try to help her recover more of the lost blood and take her away for an emergency brain scan.

~Time skip~

"We are gathered here today, to celebrate the life of Miss Y/n Akaashi."

The priest drones on about perfect she was.

I can't stop staring at the picture of her.

She looks to beautiful.

Her heart stopped that day.

We don't know what caused it, doctor said it had something to do with the heart fracturing.

I miss you.

I'm sorry I wasn't there.

As we lower the casket down... I place one final charm onto her bracelet.

A sword.

To represent how I protected her, and how she protected me.
