Seventeen

"Kōtarōōōō!" I yell out to my boyfriend as I make my way down the hall to catch up with him.

Once I make it to him I run into his chest and fall to the ground not knowing he had stopped moving. He chuckles and picks me up, "You need to be more careful baby, do your legs still hurt?" He whispers the last part in hopes no one would hear.

But of course somebody did, "Why would her legs hurt?" It was Keiji.

Shit...

"Well... Um... Akaashi... Um... I... We..." Kō stumbles over his words and Akaashi laughs, "Great cover Bo, you know I heard you guys right? You're not quiet at all," Both of our faces flush.

"Sorry Keiji..." I mumble slightly.

He just lets out a sigh, "Did you guys at least use protection?" Kō and I look at each other, eyes wide.

I can hear an audio smack and Kō's grip loosens on me causing me to have to catch myself so I don't fall, "You idiots!" Keiji yells at us both.

"We didn't think about it..." Kō mumbles, I nod slightly agreeing with what he said as I run my arms.

Keiji pinches the bridge of his nose, "K-Keiji?..." I ask him scared he's gonna blow up here and now.

"What?" He snaps.

Tears brim my eyes and I open my mouth to speak but I can't get any words out, I run to nearest girls bathroom and slam my back to the wall.

My body slides down the wall and I pull my knees up to my chest and cry.

The door to the bathroom opens only moments later causing me to stand up and wipe my eyes as I walk to the sink to splash water on my face.

"Oh... I thought the bathroom was empty... I-I'm sorry Y/n-chan..." I hear Mitsu say but before she can leave I stop her.

Grabbing her shoulder she turns around, "Is everything alright?" She asks me with concern filling her eyes. My arms wrap around her shoulders and I pull her in for a hug as soft cries escape my lips.

Her being 4'9 makes me her a little shorter then me so I'm able to rest my chin on her head.

"Hey... Whatever it is, it'll be okay. I know that's cliché and stupid and doesn't always help but you're my best friend even though we're not super close. You make me really happy and I wanna do the same for you. So if that means letting you cry on me and tell me everything while I just listen or give you as much advice as I can I will. But if. you don't wanna tell me what's wrong you don't have to, but I will still tell you cheesy cliché things to help make it better," He says into my neck rubbing my back.

More cries erupt from my throat as I think about everything that has happened in my past and what happened today.

"Kō..." Is all I can get out, causing her to push me away and look me in the eyes.

He holds my arms before she speaks, "Did he hurt you?" He asks gently.

I shake my head no and she sighs in relief, "Do you wanna talk about it?" I think about it for a second and then slowly nod.

She smiles and sits down on the floor gesturing for me to sit down next to her. Sitting down next to her I can tell she's directing all her attention to me.

"Kō and I had sex the other day... And we didn't think about using protection and Keiji brought it up today and now I'm scared that I might be pregnant," I say all this as I hold back sobs.

Before Mitsu can get anything out I continue, "I just don't wanna end up like my mom..." I sob out. His causes her to pull me into a hug.

"I'm not even gonna ask because you're already going through enough as it is right now but, you can come over tonight and we can take a test if you life," She says rubbing my back.

I nod into her shoulder and the bell for next class rings, "We should probably go, huh?" I say sniffling and whipping my tears.

She nods and smiles standing up and extending her hand to help me up, "I actually had to use the bathroom so if you want you can wait," She says as she turns around to go into one of the stalls.

~Time skip~

"Keiji, I'm going to Mitsu-chan's tonight," I tell him at lunch.

I see him nod and Kõtarō gives me a sad smile before pulling out his phone, I walk away and head to where Mitsu told me she would be.

Before I sit down my phone buzzes.

Daddy owl: I'm sorry baby, I didn't think about it. I hope you know I didn't intend for this to happen. But maybe this will be a good thing :)
Baby owl: I haven't thought about it like that... Well... I'm supposed to take a test tonight at Mitsu-chan's house. So... Do you want to facetime while I do that?...
Daddy owl: Of course I do :)

I smile and put my phone away as Mitsu has a smirk plastered on her face, "You're smiling. Was that Mr. Boyfriend?" She says as she eats her mochi.

Nodding she smiles, "You know he's gonna love you no matter what, right? It doesn't matter what comes back on that test," She says with her mouth full of food.

"You're really helping me. I know it doesn't seem like it but thank you," I say smiling at her.

She smiles back as she chews and we talk about after school, "I have practice to go to after school, I don't see why it would be a problem for you to wait in the gym," I say as I eat a pork bun.

She nods, "That sounds good to me! I just don't want to intrude..." She says looking away slightly.

"Don't worry, I don't have an 'manager friends' so it'll be fine"

She looks at me puzzled, "But aren't two older girls also managing the team?" I nod but explain my situation with them.

"Ugh, I'm sorry you have to deal with that," She tells me as she finishes her food as do I.

The bell rings and we pack up to go to our classes bidding our farewells and see you laters.

~Time skip~

The end of the day seems to come around fast and finally it's time for practice.

Kō stops by my classroom to pick me up as usual, "Mitsu is meeting us at the gym," I inform him as he nods.

"What are you hiding behind your back?" I ask him and as I do he smiles brightly and shows me what he has, "I know this morning was rough so I got you a little something during lunch and my free period..." He says handing me a stuffed bunny and a box of chocolate that have a white rose attached to the front.

"This is all for me?" I ask him.

He nods and I jump into his arms, "You're the best..." I say smiling into his chest as his arms wrap around my waist pulling me close to him as if I would disappear if he let me go.

He kisses the top of my head before speaking, "Let's go put these in your locker and then head to the gym," He says smiling.

I nod and we walk to my locker, I open it and he neatly places them in my locker with the most strategy I've ever seen.

~Time skip~

After practice I hug Keiji and kiss Kō a goodbye, but as I'm about to leave Kō pulls me back.

"I just wanna let you know, that no matter what comes back on that test... I'm always gonna love you. I promise baby owl," He says pulling me into a hug and kissing my head.

"I'm always gonna love you..." He mumbles into my hair and I can tell he's crying.

I pull away from the hug and look up at him, "I'm always gonna love you too, Kō," I say tearing up.

"Y/n! C'mon! The store is gonna close if you don't hurry!" Mitsu yells from the door.

A sad smile is on both of our faces, "I guess that's my que to leave..." I say with a small giggle which Kō chuckles at.

We bid our last goodbyes and part our separate ways.
