Being different was something that Hadrian Regulus Potter had come to accept. He always noticed that everyone else at the orphanage was different, they didn't possess the abilities that he did. They didn't have the understanding when it came to the snakes that slithered in their garden. They couldn't get revenge on those who dared to defy them.

It was evident by his physical appearance that there was something wrong with his growth; he was tiny. The other kids were taller by a few inches and their differences in weight were also significantly noticeable. But that's what you get when you grow up with retched muggles, a 'loving' orphanage that gives him a roof over his and hundreds of bruises and broken bones, all they do is beat you down, literally and figuratively, until you're nothing but a bloody and scarred mess.

He couldn't help but hold a distaste and resentment to those that left him here. Why would you leave such an angelic-looking child in a rotting place like this? The same question can go to those who adopted him to only bring him back a few days later. The latter of the two groups are the only ones who knew, including those at the orphanage; he was the devil in disguise. A true fallen angel, some might say. Others, however, say he's a demonic freak that deserves nothing but to die, that's mainly from the older boys of the orphanage that don't receive the chance of getting adopted.

However, receiving a letter about some type of 'magic' from two strange-looking professors isn't the day-to-day occurrence, neither is it when someone resists his charm. It completely stunts him, not that he shows it, but it slips from his mind when he thinks of all the chances he can get with this newfound information. Especially with his newfound popularity of the "Boy-Who-Lived" that has almost every light wizard bending over backwards for him.

Those of the wizarding world aren't prepared for the one who is called, Hadrian Regulus Potter.
