Hi there. How are you? I'm fine, but I doubt you care.

Just a warning I'm not a doctor or a Mikan and I don't know anything about medical shit and I'm too lazy to search it up, so any doctors or Mikan kinnies do not get mad at me.

Also, choose a number, 1 or 2. It'll decide the ending. One of them is an angsty end, one of them a happy end. I'm not telling you which is which. This story's fate is in your hand[VOTING NOW CLOSED, THANK YOU.]

Hajime Hinata

I looked at Nagito. "W-what? I'm Hajime Hinata, don't you remember me?"

He gave me a confused look. "No, I don't."

I turned to face the doctor. "What happened to him?"

He gave me a solemn look. "It appears he has amnesia, meaning he can't remember anything."

Yeah I know what amnesia means.

"Before I start the explanation, can I ask you something?" He asked.

"I don't care, I guess."

"Were you aware that he was suffering from Frontotemporal Dementia before any of this happened?" He asked.

Huh?! What the Hell is that?!

"W-what...?" I asked. "N-no, I didn't..."

"Well, Frontotemporal dementia, also known as FTD, is an umbrella term for a group of uncommon brain disorders that primarily affect the frontal and temporal lobes of the brain. These areas of the brain are generally associated with personality, behavior and language. FTD is incurable and the average life span for someone diagnosed is somewhere between 2-10 years." The doctor explained.

He definitely read that definition off of a website. There's no way he has that memorized...

But, that doesn't matter. According to this, Nagito's destined to die some time between 2-10 years. Maybe that was the illness Kirigiri was talking about. But she never said it was incurable. She said I could cure it. But she could be wrong.

I kept silent, not being able to decide on what to say. So, the doctor continued.

"One of FTD's side affects is memory loss. Based on the tests we ran on him, the head trauma messed with his already messed up brain, which suffered from memory loss, and resulted in him losing his memories entirely."

"I don't understand." I said.

"Well, I don't know what else to say. His memory will most likely come back eventually, but there's no telling when that is." The doctor explained.

This is a nightmare...
