{Gaster POV}

I lay in bed, feeling tired and lazy, But I had to get up...

I lay there for another hour, telling myself I'll get up soon...

I know that I need to get up.. but My bones feel like lead... I'm just so tired...

After another 30 minutes, I finally forced myself to get up and get ready for work.

I've been on Anti-Depressants for a while now... But I just feel like they're not helping at all...

I slip on my lab coat and teleport to the CORE.

{Grillby POV}

I've had this weird feeling in my gut ever since this morning, I'm not sure why... But I have to focus on work right now, I can't let anything bother me...

{Sans POV}

I rubbed my eyes, still groggy from my nightmare. It's always the same one, Accept... I can never seem to remember it when I wake up...

Eh, whatever. I pull out my journal and begin to doodle and write while I listen to some music.

{Gaster POV}

(finally- my math & science classes are coming in handy-)

"So if I were to... a(2)+b(2)= .... No, dang it.. hmm, what about..." Gaster sighs and covers his face in his hands. he takes a sip of coffee and is about to continue working when he hears a knock on the door. "Come in!" He calls out and hears the door open and he turns around "Oh! King Asgore, How are you?" He asks and stands up to greet him "I'm Doing Fine, thank you! Anyway, I Just scheduled an important meeting and I need you to be there." He said, "Ok, when?" "Uh, In 10 minutes-"

'You gotta be kidding me' I facepalm "Ok, I'll get ready. Who all will we be meeting with?" I ask "Alphy's, Sans, and i couple of other people. We're going to be brainstorming idea's for.."

{After the Meeting}

"Thank you for being here everyone! You are all dismissed!" Asgore said and we all got up and started packing up our stuff "Hey Dr.G-gaster! W-wait up!" I turn around and see Dr.Alphy's running after me as I'm walking out of the Meeting room "Oh, Hello Dr.Alphy's! Do you need something?" I ask "Y-yes, I was wondering i-if I could borrow a b-book" She responds "Of course! If you follow me back to my office you can pick out the one you need" I smile at her, "T-thank you so much!"

We walk to my office and I set down my stuff and Alphys looks through my books on the shelf "So, What exactly are you looking for?" I ask her, "Oh! I'm just looking for a book on above-ground magic, Ya know... G-gotta try and g-get out of here!" She chuckles nervously "Yeah, I know. Hmm, here I'd recommend this one and maybe this one." I pull two books off the shelves and hand them to her "Th-thank you so much!" "You're welcome, and you're welcome to use my 'library' anytime you need!" I say to her "Thank you so much, I-i'll see you later!" "Bye Alphys!" I wave as she leaves the room.

{At home}

"I'm gonna go to my room pops," Sans says heading up the stairs "Mk, but don't forget to eat something!" "yeah, yeah, I know!" I smile and shake my head, I go to reach for a snack.

'You don't deserve it'

I sigh and take the snack anyway and begin to eat it.

'tch'

After I finish eating I head up to my room and continue working a little, though it's hard to concentrate when the voices are yelling at me. I eventually give up and put in a log, then decide to take a nap.

I cover my face in my pillow and try to rest with the voices still bothering me.

{10 minutes later..}

I can't take it anymore... I give up...

'This is Ridiculous..'

I sighed and sat down at my desk to write a letter...

I got up and summoned a n00se and got a chair...

{Grillby POV}

The uneasy feeling I had earlier was getting worse... Luckily I was done with work, so I decided to head over to Gaster's to see what he was doing. I tried calling him to let him know I was coming over, but it went straight to voicemail which was a little weird, but whatever.

I walk to his house and unlock the door -we had given each other a spare key to our places a while back- and walk-in. I'm guessing papyrus was at Undyne's still and that Sans was in his room, so I'm pretty sure Gaster would be in his room.

I walked up the stairs to find Moon scratching at Gaster's door and meowing. When he saw me he ran up to me and rubbed his body against my leg, so I picked him up. I was about to open the door when I heard a

*thud*

from the other side of the door, I quickly set Moon down and opened the door "Gaster, are you ok?!-"

{Gaster POV}

I ignored Moon's scratching at the door and got up on the Chair... The air was cold. The Voices were cheering me on, and I was on the verge of a panic attack. Suddenly I lost my balance and fell off the chair and landed on my back 'D*mn it!' I thought "Gaster, are you ok?!-" The door opened and Moon came rushing to my side and began licking my face, but I was focused on the horror and concern in Grillby's face. I look down at the ground and just begin crying silently. I hear a sigh and footsteps drawing near, then a familiar warm embrace. I'm too ashamed to hug him back, so I just kinda sit there, crying...

He Pulls me in closer, and I feel something wet on my shoulder... "I-I'm sorry! I-i d-didn't meant to make you c-cry!" I say, hugging him back. He takes my face in his hands "P-.. P-please don't ever do that!!" He says, raising his voice a bit "I-I'm sorry.."; He sobs. Tears were rolling down his cheeks... I felt bad... '...He really cares about me this much?...' I frown and hug him, trying to comfort him. "I- ... I don't know w-what I would do if s-something ever happened to y-you..." "Promise me.." He continues "Promise me, that you won't try it again..." I stay silent for a while... "I Promise....."
