(Argus, 5:30 A.M.)
Jaune woke up when the road suddenly changed from frozen earth to hard concrete. With the rude wake up call he began boiling water for morning rations, checking supplies and other morning tasks given to him before the flight to Atlas.
Mantle he corrected himself. The former capital of Solitas was going to be used as the meeting place for the trade agreement. Officially it would be because it would act as neutral ground and still allow Ironwood to give commands to his army. Unofficially it was to prevent anyone from trying to take advantage the general's absence, sabotage the meeting, or tamper with the trade contract for their own benefit.
Anyone who tries will have at least one deadly force on their tails, depending on who or why.
With the new systems in the crawler, he then turned on the semi-automated driving allowing Rusty to get a few hours sleep while they prepare for the flight to Atlas. Opening the cooked beef and noodles he called out "the Auto-pilots done, just type in the settings."

With a drowsy giggle he then took a hot drink and took the driver's seat, making sure nothing went wrong as he ate while the two older men slept.

When the soldiers at the wall informed her of the Trine village militia were granted entry an hour prior, she immediately prepared a cargo airship designed to carry tanks and other land vehicles for them to fly to her mighty homeland.
What was unusual is that they requested permission to enter the base(the general gave them permission weeks ago), as well as to allow them to eat while going through customs. Quite understandable since some items could be considered contraband. The commanding officer was almost euphoric at the fact a frontiersman was trying to help expedite screening. Nevertheless, Caroline and the Nubuck guards were at the entrance waiting for the approaching convoy.
After stopping at the entrance, the driver quietly exited the vehicle, revealing himself to be a blonde child with a too-large coat to keep warm. "Sorry for any trouble, but a storm has forced us to make a detour here to make it to the meeting in time." The boy explained.
A storm? It explains why they didn't take the straightest route, and why any calls to Vale were audio only. "Not to worry my boy, the transport will be ready to fly within the hour, is your commander still asleep?" She asked.
"He should wake up soon, and even if he doesn't, he'll be well rested for the signing. I have a list of our supplies, and the blueprints to the vehicles, will they help with customs?"
"They will indeed help" she chuckled "the list will allow my soldiers to check for discrepancies, may i drive the vehicle to the landing pad?" With a delayed nod he helped her to the driver's seat, allowing her to bring the convoy to A2 for transport.

"Commander, the vehicles have been checked."the left Nubuck informed.
"The papers have also been checked." continued the right.
"Everything is in order!" they chorused, with Jaune giving them a slightly disturbed look.
"Good, now have the bullhead loaded and ready for transport in 30 minutes" she smiled at them. "I hope you all have a wonderful time in Mantle, it should be more to your liking than Atlas" Hollow shook her hand while the vehicles were set into the bullhead, the grinder being substituted for a less road damaging car.
