Aang grabbed Katara in his arms right before she fell and hit her head. Sokka gasped and helped his brother hold up his sister before returning to his girlfriend.
"I just woke up from the dead and Katara already get shot by lightning. What are our lives?" he mumbled. "You tell us, you're the one who died," Toph said. Aang glared at her before placing Katara in his arms and walking into the couple's room with everyone.
"Come on, love," he whispered in her ear, attempting to wake her up. "Everything you say in her ear I wanna hear you say out loud, airboy," Sokka said.
"Come on, love. How the hell is that bad? I'm trying to wake her up," he complained. Sokka glared at him. "You guys can go if you want. It's ok," Katora said. "Yeah, these water-whiners need their time alone. Let's go chuck some rocks," Toph said.
Everyone laughed and followed her out, but Katora, Timber, Sokka, and Suki. Aang just held Katara close to him and continued to rub her back in attempt to wake her up.
"Sokka, you can calm down on him. If I trust him, you should," Hakoda scolded. Sokka scoffed. "You don't know what Psycho and Jukayo did to her." His father raised an eyebrow. "Who's Jukayo?"
Aang and Sokka froze. "No one, sir. Don't- I mean, don't worry." Hakoda smiled. "I'm never going to get you to call me by my first name, am I?" Aang shook his head.
"While she's asleep, I actually realized that I never asked you if it was ok for me to ask her to be my girlfriend. I'm sorry," he said. Sukaya giggled. "That's adorable, Hakoda."
Hakoda smiled. "Aang, that is adorable. How many times do I have to tell you I approve? I might just take away the blessing until you treat me like I'm your father." Aang frowned and felt a tear in his eye as he held his girlfriend closer to his chest.
"N-no, please don't. I- I-I can't live without her," he cried. Sokka gagged and Suki elbowed him in the ribs. "Aang, I was just kidding. But really, I'm your father as well," Hakoda replied with a soft voice.
"I-I'm sorry, really. Hakoda. I can try." He smiled. "That's fine." Syka, Kayo, and Kano walked into the bedroom and sat down on some benches.
"Mom, you're starting to show. That's weird, how long have you been pregnant for?" Kayo asked. Sukaya raised an eyebrow. "Uhm, around a week or so. It shouldn't be showing."
"Oh, by the way, it feels like around a month in. I'm going now," Toph said, randomly popping into the bedroom before going again. Hakoda's eyebrows shot up. "Toph! Are you-" But she had already left. "Shit!"
"It's not been a month. We would've know. And Bolique would've told me sooner. There's no way," Sukaya said, a trembling hand moving to cover her mouth. "Bolique? She's not the best earthbender. And I don't think seismic sense is her best talent," Kayo pointed out.
"It's fine, guys. That means your family is coming together sooner," Suki said with a smile. Sokka jabbed his nail into her arm. "Our family." Suki shook her head.
"Our family," he repeated. Suki rolled her eyes. "If I have to be apart of this, you're suffering with me, Suki," Aang said. They both laughed for a sec. "Suffering? Wow, thanks, bro," Sokka complained. Aang smiled and laughed.
"It's fine, babe. Ok, our family," she smiled. Sokka nodded and squeezed her. Aang held Katara in his arms and tried waking her up again. "Come on, love. Wake up, sweetie," he whispered in her ear. Sokka glared at Aang. "Out loud."
