Cass's POV

I pull my babies closer to my chest as they drift off into sleep.  I gently hum as Danny finally falls asleep. I lay her down in her crib, then I go and join Mike in the kitchen. He's sitting on the sofa, and I quickly join him.  He wraps his arm around me and pulls me closer.  I sigh.

"Is Ash and dad home yet?"  He shakes his head sadly, and I sigh.  He starts playing with my hair.

"So, have you thought of any dates for the wedding yet?"  I sigh again.

"I don't know.  I want to have it after the kids' first birthday though.  Maybe in between the quads' birthday and Amelia's birthday.  What do you think?"

"Sounds good to me.  All I know is the first thing we have to pick is a date."  I nod. "How about September 15th?" I pause for a minute.

"What day of the week is that?"  He shrugs, so I quickly pull his lap top I got him for Christmas off of his lap and look it up.  "It's a Tuesday."  I look up at him.  "What do you think?  I don't mind." He nods.

"Looks like we got a date then." He pulls me into a passionate kiss that lasts until we hear someone clear their throat.  I blush when I see dad and Ash standing across the room.  I run up to Ash and give her a hug. She pulls away and sighs.

"I'm gonna go to bed.  I'll see you guys tomorrow."  She walks into the guess room, and I look over at dad.

"So, how'd it go?"  He sighs.

"Ash has had a really hard.  I'm letting her stay home tomorrow, okay?"  I nod.  "So, what's been going on with you two?"

"We picked a day for the wedding." He raises an eyebrow.

"Really?  When?" I laugh as he starts digging around in the cabinets for something to eat.

"There's left overs in the microwave.  And September 15th."  He nods.

"That's smart having all of your important dates near each other.  It'll make you less likely to forget one."  Mike and I burst out laughing, and dad lets out a small chuckle.

"So, what's gonna happen to Ash?" Dad sighs again, the smile sliding from his face.

"I've been granted temporary custody of her, but..."

"Uh oh.  There's a but."  He let's out a nervous laugh.

"They're afraid that I won't be a suitable father because of my... mental state.  They're actually even saying that they're going to review Amerlia's case."  I jump up, shocked.

"They can't do that! You're a great dad!  They can't take Amelia away from you!" He sighs.

"I'm afraid that they can, and they might.  So, for right now, I'm gonna spend all of the time I can with her.  And, I'll go see Hart again before the Cass reopens to see what I need to do.  So, Ill probably need you to watch Amelia after school again tomorrow."  I nod.

"I will.  I want her to stay as much as you do." I sigh and then look up at the clock. "We better go to bed.  It's almost eleven.  Good night dad."

"Good night, Cass."  I head to my bedroom and fall asleep.
