The elevator door opened and I walked out. What I never thought about was checking to see if anyone was near. The doors opened to a very confused Black Widow. She rose an eyebrow and seemed to study the air. She was trained to feel shifts in the air and that meant she could probably feel me if I was to move at this moment. Taking a deep breath I shot out a rock that I only could see. I threw it at the window right behind her. It made a slight clunk in which she shot her head around. I took the split second and flew up and zoomed away to Bucky's room.
I saw a vase as I flew down the hallway. Reaching my hand out as I passed I knocked down the vase. It shattered onto the floor making a huge noise. I was sure Barnes would leave his room to investigate.
Behold I was correct. Barnes's door opened just as I made it to the other side of his door. He walked out enough to see the vase. His eyebrows shot up in surprise and he checked his surroundings.
I slipped inside his room and grabbed the journal that was on his bed and made an illusion of it. I knew I would have to hurry and read it, as my illusion wouldn't stay solid for a while. I turned my illusion invisible and made my way back out of the room.
I was just about out of the room when Bucky came into the room and closed the door. It was this moment I knew, one I fucked up, two I had no way out without alerting Bucky. I started to pace back in forth in the air trying to not make any sudden movements. I knew he was also able to notice sudden shifts in the air just like Natasha. I stopped for a second to cast an astral projection to see what everyone else is doing. I walked to the living area on the floor and observed that Tony and Bruce were on the couch talking and nobody else was anywhere to be found.
Out of nowhere, I couldn't breathe someone was choking me. Immediately I exited the projection and I came face to face with a mad Winter Soldier. The lack of oxygen made it so I couldn't keep my invisibility up.
"Please stop." I croaked, "You don't know what you are doing" I was trying to peel his hands off my throat. I can't pass out due to my powers but it was still weakening my state. "But there are things you will never understand." I cast out an illusion of me running out of the room. He dropped me on the ground as he followed it thinking that it was the actual me. "Heimdall take me to Asgard I must speak with Allfather" I whispered still laying on the ground gasping.
A bright light came and swept me off the ground. The Bifrost feels like your getting sucked through a vacuum. Once the light faded I was standing before Heimdall. "You know Elissa, you're causing a lot more harm than good." He scolded me like a child.
"Heimdall I am aware, but you are the seer of seers you have seen what I have been through," I whisper almost afraid of someone overhearing. "Do me a favor if Thor arrives will you send me a thought so I can catch it. I will keep my mind open for direct thoughts. Please." I begged. I didn't need to be worrying about him.
"Of course for my favorite Midgard Goddess." me and Heimdall have always had a connection. It was nice to rely on him in the hardest of moments. I would call out to him when I was upset and knew he would be listening to me.
"Now I must go to thou Allfather." I bowed my head and made my way to the Palace."Elissa, why are you trying to destroy Midgard?" A deep voice boomed as soon as I entered the throne room.
"Because I hate them, they need to pay. Do you know how many people stopped believing in me?" I frantically explained pointing my hands at the key points. "They have put me in my personal Hel" I whispered, " They have made me suffer, and now I will make sure they feel my wrath because of thou." I raised my voice at each word slightly.
"Elissa this is not the way" He beckoned me closer into a hug "Elissa my child... You are a queen goddess. A powerful one too. Your family wouldn't want you doing this." He whispered into my ear. "I understand you feel as if you have been wronged by your father, but this is not the way. I know your brother cheated you out of the Tyres throne, but think please before you do this." I broke down crying in his arms. I haven't cried in years. It's not a normal sight.
"Father who is this." A voice spoke from behind me. I knew it wasn't Thor as this voice was calm and almost concerned. It could only be from Loki.
"This my son, is Elissa. She is very special so please be kind." Odin said as he stroked my hair while I calmed down.
Once I composed myself I wiped my face and turned to Loki. I took a deep breath to make sure my voice was steady and collected. "Hello Loki, I am Elissa goddess of tragic love and chaos." I nodded with a smile on my face "I heard you can create some pretty convincing illusions." I smiled at him 'As well as telepathy, pretty neat if I say ' He smiled back at me.
'Ah yes I can, I see you have it as well' He answered telepathically.
"Thank you, Odin, I'd appreciate it if I can stay between only us three. You know what could happen if someone else found me here Odin." 'If Thor found me he would try to kill me. I know I am asking you to hide me from your son but it's important he doesn't link me to Asgard' I thought to Odin while still smiling glancing around. I was trying to make sure Loki didn't catch on.
"Elissa why don't you take a walk to the healers so they can look at your neck." Odin tried to sound polite but it was more of an order.
"Of course Allfather" I agreed instantly, I was not in the mood to argue. "I haven't been here for over a couple of years. Loki do you mind showing me the way." I asked politely while slightly bowing my head.
"Sure milady" He bowed to me.
"Thank you Odin" I bowed my head to him to show my gratitude. I knew being around Loki could mean he can get in my head but I almost wanted him to but then again he is Thor's brother.
