Unexpected Surprise

MEGANS POV

I haven't talked to Justin since the night we confessed we missed each other.

I'm having my friend, Brooklyn, over tonight. She's the first friend I've made since I've been in California.

She has long blonde hair and tons of tattoos and piercings. It's not the piercings and tattoos that would kinda make you nervous about someone, they were simple but punk-ish. She basically her whole ear pierced, her tongue, her septum, her nose, her belly button, a couple of ____. She had a tattoo across her ribs right under her boob, one on her ankle, and a cross on the nape of her neck.

We're planning on going to the beach and scope out some hot guys, but the tides were really strong so we decided against it, so we're just going to watch movies and eat all day.

I was home alone. I was putting clothes away.

I could hear someone creaking up the stairs, I was kinda worried but not really.

I listened to the steps to indicate what direction they were going in. They were coming closer and closer to my door and my heart slightly started beating faster.

My door flung open, "HEY BITCH! I HOPE I SCARED YA!" Brooklyn came in screaming.

With my hand over my heart I breathed, "Not at all."

Brooklyn laughed, "Sorry. I brung movies, and our favorite foods!" She smiled trying to make me feel better.

"Cool! Do you wanna watch them now?" I asked.

She rapidly nodded her head, "I've been dying to watch this movie!" She said holding up We're the Millers.

"Well let's go into the movie room." I laughed.

My dad set up a movie room in the basement. There is a HUGE flat screen tv and 5 couches. It kinda looks like a theatre.

We plopped down on one of the couches and played the movies.

Once we got bored of watching movies we went back up to my room.

"What should we do tomorrow? I'm so tired of staying home." I said sitting down next to Brooklyn on my bed.

"Do you wanna go with Josh and Richie to the mall? They're having a sale at Victoria Secret, we should check it out." She suggested.

"You like Richie, don't you?" I smirked.

She shrugged, "Kinda, I think he likes you though."

"I don't like him though, I'm not really over my ex, yet. I don't want to get into a relationship for a long while. I wouldn't date him anyways if you like him!" I said grabbing my laptop.

"Dude, you're literally the best, any of my other friends wouldn't care if I liked him." She smiled.

"I HATE it when people do that. Like, I obviously just told you I liked him, stop trying to get with him!" I rolled my eyes.

"I know!" She jumped getting into the topic.

I went onto YouTube and started watching Kian Lawley videos.

Brooklyn and I were both in tears from laughing so hard. There was a slight noise from the hallway. I let it slide thinking maybe it was a floorboard or something.

"Hey I'm going to go use the bathroom." Brooklyn said getting up. I nodded my head. I continued to watch the videos, laughing my head off.

After a couple of minutes Brooklyn came back into my room speeding towards me.

"I thought we were the only ones here?" She whispered.

I nodded my head concerned, "We are. Why? Did my dad come home early?"

"Well when I was in the bathroom I turned on the bathroom light and the light in the other room turned off. I don't know if maybe I'm just seeing things or if what I'm saying really happened."

I jumped up, "No, the same thing happened to me earlier!" I whispered.

"Should we go in there?" Brooklyn asked. "I'm a trained black belt."

I laughed, "Okay I'll go first." I said standing up and slowly going to my bathroom, trying not to make a sound.

I went to the other door and listened for a while. I couldn't hear anything. I flung the door open.

The lights were off but it wasn't dark enough to not be able to see everything. I could see a tall figure standing by the light switch. I squinted trying to see if my eyes were just messing with me.

I could hear Brooklyn breathing heavily behind me, I could tell she could see it too.

The light turned on and my whole world came to a stop. My eyes widened, I was frozen. I didn't know what to do.

He started walking closer and closer to me, opening up his arms for a hug. I embraced him with a gigantic hug.

"I missed you." Justin breathed in my ear, "You guys ruined my plan though." He laughed.

"What are you doing here?" I said excited.

"I missed you. Your dad and I have been planning this for a while!" He smiled looking at me and smiling.

I looked back at Brooklyn who was speechless, "WHAT?" She yelled with a confused tone.

"This is Justin." I smiled.

Her eyes widened, "Oh my god. This is so cute now." She smiled, "I'm going to leave you guys alone then." She said backing up into my room and shutting the door.

"I missed you so much, I knew you missed me too, I couldn't have just let us not be together. I need you. I love you." He smiled looking me in the eye.

The temptation was overwhelming my body. I caressed his face and crashed my lips onto his. I could feel his smile grow from in between our lips, which made me smile knowing he was satisfied. I pulled away and looked at him stand there with his perfect smile.

"Your dad said I could stay in this room." He said pointing back behind him at the guest bedroom. "The plan was that I was going to wake you up in the morning, but you little snoopers had to open the door!"

"There's a lock." I said going to the door showing him the lock on both sides.

"See, I'm not a very observant person." He said laughing, "Well I'm all jet lagged, so you go back to your friend and I'm going to go take a nap." She smiled shooing me out of his room.

"Okay, see you in the morning!" I smiled. I shut the bathroom door and walked into my room, shutting the other door behind me.

Brooklyn was sitting on my bed.

"He's SO CUTE!" Brooklyn whispered. I nodded. "You told me he was cute and all, but damn." She said shocked, "I'm gonna leave after breakfast tomorrow though, so you guys can have your time." She smiled.

"Okay. I'll FaceTime you tomorrow night most likely and tell you how everything goes." I smiled.

"Sounds good! Let's go to bed, I'm all exhausted." Brooklyn said getting under the covers.

"Okay." I walked over to the light and turned it off.
