Jonahs First Day

MEGANS POV

I was in a rush to get ready this morning, because I always manage to wake up late.

"JONAH!" I said shaking him, "WAKE UP!"

"What time is it?" He groggily said lifting myself up.

His morning voice UGHH the feels!

"6:50 school starts at 7:25 and it takes 10 minutes to get there, so you might wanna start getting ready." I laughed.

The blanket fell off of Jonah's chest when he sat up, and boy oh boy I didn't have a problem with that. His abs were so defined and nice!

Trying not to stare I went to my mirror where my makeup bag was and I pulled out my mascara knowing I wasn't going to have time to do anything else to my face. So the look today was mascara, eyeliner, and bronzer.

Jonah slipped on some black, slightly baggy, skinny jeans, but of course just like Justin he sagged them a little.

"I'm pretty much ready!" He shouted through my closet door. I was on the inside, he was on the outside.

I walked out with my ripped blue skinny jeans on and a light, baggy, black tee shirt, only tucked in in the front and my black original high top vans.

"Me too." I said.

Jonah was fixing his hair in the mirror, "Well don't you look good!" He smiled.

I smiled, "Thanks! For only having 10 minutes to get ready, I think we look pretty good!"

We went downstairs and grabbed the granola bars and headed to his car.

We made it to school and went to the office to get his schedule.

We walked up to the front desk.

"What can I help you with?" She said in her usual bitchy tone.

"I'm here to pick up my schedule." Jonah said ignoring her tude.

I usually just give an attitude back.

"Oh, you must be Jonah!" She smiled.

"Yeah..." Jonah said kinda weirded out by her sudden change in tone.

"Here you go!" She said pulling out a piece of paper from her desk handing it to Jonah.

"Thank you." Jonah said taking it and making his way out of the office.

"Let me see it," I said grabbing the paper. My mouth dropped open then formed a smile. "We have all of the same classes! You're locker is even next to mine!" I cheered.

"Sweet!" He smiled. "That makes my school year easier!"

We were walking to our lockers. I could tell people were staring at Jonah and I in that 'Who's that sexy ass man' and that 'Why is she walking with him and not Justin' look.

Jonah just ignored it, but I couldn't. It made me feel insecure.

We put our stuff in our lockers and went to history.

"Hey I'm Jonah, the new kid." He said introducing himself to Mr. Benson, the history teacher.

"Hello!" He said shaking his hand.

"You can take a seat next to Megan, since you know her." Mr. Benson said pointing at the seat next to me in the two people desk.

Jonah made his way to the spot next to me. Usually Justin sits here, but we made a deal not to talk to each other today.

This is going to be a loooong day. Jess and Gabi came walking in and sat in their usual seats, in the desk in front of us.

"Hey I'm Gabi!" She said introducing herself to Jonah, she was completely star struck, same with Jonah.

"I'm Jessica, but you can call me Jess." Jess said.

"I'm tired" I said yawning.

Jess turned around, facing the front of the room and texted me, 'How do you think Justin is going feel with Jonah sitting there?'

'I don't know, he said we needed a day not talking. The teacher sat him here anyways.'

Jess looked at the message and closes her phone not replying.

Why is she being like that?

Jonah and I were having a conversation, and Justin walked in.

Not even looking back at our table in the back of the room, he sat down next to Brad.

"Justin is in 3 of our classes," I said to just let him know.

He nodded his head, and the bell rang.

"Okay class!" Mr. Benson said, "We're going to be doing a project with your table partner. You guys are going to need to make a timeline of everything we learned, so far, this year. It will be due in 3 days. You guys can start now, all of the supplies are over there."
He said pointing to the counter in the back of the room.

"I'll get the supplies." I told Jonah.

I got up and walked 2 feet to the counter.

Justin came up to get paper, right next to me.

"Hey, can you hand me the purple paper?" He asked me. I smiled hearing his voice.

I grabbed it and handed it to him, still smiling.

"Technically I can't talk to you today, but do you wanna hangout tomorrow? Me and the guys are going to be playing basketball at my house. Would you wanna come?" he asked nervously.

Why is he being all nervous all of a sudden?

"Yeah sure! That sounds fun." I smiled.

"Cool! I'll pick you up at 4 tomorrow." He smiled

I nodded my head and went back to my seat, and Jonah and I started our project.

By the end of the day Jonah and I were both sleeping in class. It was weird because Justin usually comes and wakes me up, but he didn't.

I made Jonah sit by me in every class, so we were sleeping side by side.

Justin wouldn't leave my head, I couldn't wait for tomorrow.
