In the burning streets of Union city, hundreds of people scattered across the city, shoving and trampling anyone in their way, doing anything they can to get away from the massive grimm destroying their home.
A news reporter along with her camera man fought against the current of people, trying to get the latest scoop of what's happening today. She knows it's suicide, but the people need to know what's happing so they can prepare for the worst.
The crowd final past her and she froze from shock when she saw people on the ground, bloodied and bruised. She recognized them as students from Union Academy. She even knows a few of their names and titles. Lie Ren, Nora Valkyrie, Yuuto Kiba, Xenovia Quarta, Koneko Toujou, Tenya Ida aka Imperium, and Eijiro Kirishima aka Red Riot. Them and many others were spread across the streets unconscious, and badly injured.
She turned to the camera man and got in position with the downed heroes behind her.
Diane: I-in 5, 4, 3, 2...
The camera man gave the signal that they were live.
Diane: This is Diane Farrah reporting live from what appears to be the end of the world. A new species of grimm is currently rampaging through downtown. A building in the distance exploded into dust and derbies. An object flew out of the dust cloud and came flying at Diane. It crashed into the ground, destroying the pavement as it trailed over to them, stopping only inches from Diane's feet. They looked into the crater and gasped from shock. The object was the Pro Hero, Endeavor, wheezing with ever breath he took.

The ground beneath them shook as the grimm roared in the distance.

A soldier shouted, running from the one-hundred foot tall grimm.

The humanoid torso attached to the back of the manticore-like grimm gave a deep chuckle as the tiny humans ran in fear from the shear sight of the gargantuan beast. It's massive paws cracked the ground as it slowly advanced down the street.
The soldiers ran past a Atlesian Paladin that was marching up to the Grimm, firing every weapon at it's disposal. The grimm made an annoyed grunt, barley phased by the mech's onslaught. It reeled back it's sword arm to the side and bashed the Paladin with the flat part of the blade, sending it flying into the side of a building, exploding on impact.
