The River Of Tears She Cried

When you were walking to work you were talking with a good friend of yours. The reason you were walking instead of driving is because the work was like a thirty minute walk so it wouldn't take that long. As you are walking with your friend you see a girl sitting at a bench occasionally glancing up at you.

When you do notice this she stops. She seemed to be sitting alone and for some reason you wanted to accompany her for a bit. You look at your watch which says 8:20. You knew you could squeeze in a bit of time for a stop so do so.

You sit next to her and say "so what are you up to?" She hesitated to respond but, then she pulled out a book and said with the vocational stutter "w-well I w-was going to s-start reading a new book I-I got pretty recently." You nod and ask "what it is called?" She quickly looked back at the cover of the book as she read aloud "Ranger's Apprentice."

You and her start a little conversation that lasts for a bit before your friend Aleya says "Hey Y/N come on we got work we have to get to." You turn from facing Aleya back to the person you just met recently and you said "I got to go nice to meet you . . . didn't get your name, mine is Y/N."

She nods in agreement and says quickly "oh yeah uh, my name is Raina." You smile at her before getting up "well nice to meet you hopefully we meet again I would like to get to know you better." Raina smiles back and says in a cheerful tone "me too." Her face expression seemed as if she was about to cry of happy tears or something like that.

'When I saw Y/N walking from around the corner something struck me about him not only that but the way he talked he was so accepting. But when his friend interrupted and he left it felt like I lost something.' I thought to myself. At this point I knew I wanted to see him again. After sitting there for a little bit I decided to plan out how I would get him.

As you were walking home after a hard day at work you noticed Raina was walking towards you. She had a pretty smile. She then started to run at you. You thought she was just happy to see you so you stop walking. When she gets close she clings onto you and starts to hug you.

She then mumbled "sorry." Before you could ask what she meant by that you were hit by a metal blunt object knocking you unconsuice. You wake up later in a house tied to a chair. You look around a bit and see Raina sitting in another chair staring at you. She then giggles before saying "morning sleepy head."

You cry out to her in a panic "where am I?! Why did you bring me here?!" She seemed to be really startled by this and she starts to panic as well and she covers your mouth and she said in a worried and almost frightened tone "p-please don't freak out so much I-I can explain."

You faint from pure panic. You ended up staying at Raina's house for a week or two before you finally got used to it. Still tied to a chair of course. Then the next morning rolls around and Raina wakes you up and she has a tear going down her cheek "so I'm sorry for bringing you here. I just wanted to know you better. You see I have decided I will let you go but I want to tell you something first so you know why I did all of this."

She sighs before she has another tear drop from her eye and down her cheek. She then continues "In my past when my father was around. My mother took him and she tried to force him to love her. Why she did is because she felt something for him. When she let her guard down my dad ran away in fear. I don't know any other way to get you to love me and I understand that forcing you to love me isn't the best option."

She starts to sob a bit more and she goes on with what she was saying "You see when I first saw you I felt like I finally had something fixed about me. But when you left me I seemed to lose that very same thing I gained. I don't want to let you go but I know that scaring you isn't going to get me anywhere. I can't keep you here against your will so . . . you're free."

She unties you and she starts to cry a bit more before she looks away and avoids looking back at you.

Path A. Run away

You sigh in relief for freedom. You jolt up and run out of the house and head home somehow. Later on in the night you turn on the news to find out Raina had taken her own life. She was found dead hanging from the ceiling of her house.

Bad Ending. Achievement granted Not Regrets

Path B. Stay behind and comfort her

Instead of leaving you get up and walk to her and set a hand on her shoulder. She turns around in surprise and she questions "why aren't you running?" You smile at her then start to hug her before saying "I forgive you."

She gets a smile on her face before she kisses you and she says "thank you, thank you, thank you." She then starts to hug you back. You pat her on the head then say "I'm sure we could become a good couple." She starts to get even more happier. She then mumbles softly "I love you." She kisses you again and she snuggles up closer to you.

Good Ending.
