The Party

Ray and I locate our table as we watch the other guests find theirs the twins go in separate directions to have their fun. I watch as they hit opposite ends of the dance floor. They do love to dance, we watch as they dance away and people do a double take. Nothing like having two sets of identical twins, it was hard at first and then frustrating when they played with the teachers. The lights go down and everyone is asked to find their tables.
Raymond
Well let's see if anyone notices row sets of twins at the table lol.
Aubrey
Hey this seems like a great party so far.
David
I saw someone I know from school, I might ask her to dance.
Christian
Yeah, yeah you know you won't ask her to dance, she might ask you though.
Raymond
Boys no fighting, just enjoy the party. There's an auction for first dance for the single males and females if you guys don't go over ten grand each. So Ana and Aubrey see any guys you want to bid on yet?
Ana
No way.
Aubrey

Ahhh you are out the young ladies I have raised you t be bidding and winning is a donation to charity and a dance with a new person. Just think about it is all I can say. I being married can't participate. A couple with their children come in and find their seats at our table. They are Eamon and Enid Kavanagh and their children Kate and Ethan .

Ethan and Kate ask if we are bidding on the first dance auction. I tell them of curse we are, well David and I are.

So we don't really know anyone, can you enlighten us on who we should steer clear of?

Well I like Mia Grey and would like it if you could not bid on her. Stay away from her so called friends. They are pretty much after her brothers. Kate here likes both, but Elliott the older brother is who she likes the best. Now Christian Grey he won't be a part of having his first dance sold. Instead he donates to the charity the same amount they raise. There are a lot females single or otherwise that would love to win a dance with him in hopes they could get him to the altar. The man keeps his private life private. See his security around the room close to him and his family. Ethan nods towards a busy table with men in black blocking young ladies and men from a young man. If he wants to chat with them he rises and steps to the side with the men in black staying close by.
Ana
Well I know he is not president of the United States, so I will assume he is wealthy and good looking.
Ethan
Where have you been? He makes the papers everyday. He is the most eligible, youngest billionaire that looks like a runway model. Men and women would bid on his first dance married or not. He is single. He has dated, but they are always just after him for his money, looks and youth. I will definitely make some broken hearts mend if I can tonight. I have my goal on winning Mias first dance.
Aubrey
So tell us about the gold diggers, the men and the women and don't pretend there aren't as many men gold digging as women.
Kate
Yes please enlighten us oh wise one in your knowledge of gold diggers. Starting with yourself.
Ethan
Oh but let's not forget you might want Elliott, but you would prefer he had Christians billions. We all know that. But Ma could be a cashier at McDonalds and I would ask her out. You my dear sister wouldn't date either Grey brother if they didn't have money. So are you new to the gala circuit?

Oh my dear Ethan, we are from 9ld money, it's just that we have decided it's time for ur children to become familiar with charity events they have been protected from until now. They will be getting to know the world they will have to live in soon.
Raymond
They could just work on the reserve

You know they have to raise funds to keep it going. They can't spend all their trust funds on keeping it going. Right now we have certain donations, but they are dwindling and this is the only way to get new funds coming in. There you have it in a nutshell.
Raymond
The secret is out we are people who are animal activists trying to keep donations coming in. So we are introducing our kids to events that raise money so they can get an idea how to throw such an event in the future. So this is their first of many events they will be attending to become used to them and meet their contemporaries. So here we are. Ahh food has arrived. Let's eat shall we?

It pays to sit and listen to your kids ask questions, you learn so much more by listening. I still don't know who they are yet. But they also paid close attention to what was said. Carla definitely had. In the dim lighting you could tell the girls looked like a combination of both Ray and Carla. But the boys don't look like either parent or their sisters.
Enid
I start looking at the couple and their children and they don't all look alike. The boys look like each other, but no family resemblance to mom, dad or sisters. We are about to watch as they auction the first dances off for woman first and then men. Each group has the first dance for the women then the first dance for the men.
Kate
I drag Ana and Aubrey up on stage and realize they are identical twins wearing identical clothing. I chuckle. So it wasn't my imagination you and your brothers are both identical twins.
Aubrey
We sure are. You think we could do a double mint commercial?
Ana
I seriously doubt that.
Kate
Doubt that they are still doing those kind of commercials anymore.
