I waited for three months and called Ana to finally ask her out. At first she was concerned there was something wrong with the adoption. I explained that I would like to ask her for coffee or something because I like her and would enjoy to meet over coffee. If it was okay with her and if she felt comfortable having coffee unofficially with not strings attached.
Ana
Todd the caseworker called to ask me out for coffee, at first I was concerned there were issues with the adoption. He assured me it was purely a personal call and would understand if I didn't want to meet him for coffee. I liked him and decided to have coffee with him. He was very kind to me during the whole foster and adoption processes. He is kind and a hard working caseworker. He was never married and was a foster child at a point. All this I learned when we went to have coffee. His parents were wealthy and he was put in foster care after they were assassinated. They never found the killers, but they suspected someone. He had many people trying to get custody of him, but his parents will was iron clad and only allowed for certain named friends to adopt him. His parents assets were held in trust with only expenses paid to the adoptive parents. The company was ran by the COO with yearly audits done. Homes and properties were taken care of by caretakers. Now he is involved in the running of the company. We made arrangements for dinner soon.

Todd and Ana arrive with Angelina for her first birthday party as a Steele. Angelina was introduced to the family when we got the final adoption papers. It was a great day t celebrate. Now we have her third birthday to celebrate. She invited Todd Anderson to the birthday party. I already knew he was a very good person, he didn't have to work, he chose to work in a position that helps people.

We welcomed Angelina even when she was blind, it just took modifying some of our home environment to accommodate her blindness. Now she has her eyesight back and her eyes are bright blue like Ana's. She looks like she is Ana's child. Ana's finally bringing someone to an event. Todd Anderson has been to the adoption ceremony. But as a guest, now he and Ana has been dating him for a few months.

Carrick and I are invited to Angelinas third birthday party. It is the first birthday as a Steele. It's a family event and both Christians are coming to it. Kate and Elliott bringing 6 month old Ava and Mia is about to give birth. Ana invited Todd. Todd smiles a lot more these days. All manner of children will be there and the reserve is full of rescued animals. So it's going to be a long day for everyone.

I arrive with Ana and Angelina at the reserve in my minivan. Outfitted with all kinds of children's car seats. We are getting closer everyday. Today I see Christian Grey again, Ana doesn't know that he approached me about selling my company and then when he found out I was dating Ana. He tried to get me fired as a caseworker, telling my boss I had a conflict of interest by dating the foster parent of Angelina Steele. They didn't take his word for it. They spoke to me and Ana. Ana kept thorough calendars and our first coffee date was well after she was no longer on my caseload. So today he is going to be here. I say yippee. Nothing like two billionaires who dated the same woman to attend the same party celebrating her daughters birthday.

Todd definitely didn't tell Ana about my trying to get him fired or that I tried buying his company from him. If he did tell Ana, then she has decided to ignore me and let stupid dogs chase their own tails. She keeps a distance from me at all times. Taylor tells me that she is dating Todd and has been for a few months. He heard mom talking about it.
Ana
Todd told me of Christians actions and I apologized to him for not telling him sooner about Christian being an ex of mine. I said that apparently he has done something like this before and it scared a few dates of mine off. Some actually invited him to join us so they could get on his good side, I didn't tell them he has no good sides. Todd told me it isn't the first time a guy has tried to interfere on his dating an ex of theirs and it won't be the last.

Christian is really getting all riled up over Ana dating a caseworker. Especially one that helped her adopt her daughter. He tried to get him fired, which backfired on him. Grace got mad at him after she found out by way of Todd's boss. He asked Grace to get Christian to concentrate on GEH and not trying to get a hardworking caseworker fired. Apparently he also tried to buy Todd's company. He refused to sell to Christian. I can just see him joining the birthday celebrations in order to get under Ana and Todd's skin. Ana and Todd haven't even mentioned it to him about his actions.

Gail and I have been invited to Angelinas party, we still keep in touch with Ana and her family. After all Raymond runs a top notch security company and he has all the most recent upgrades. His staff is always learning new things and training

I can't wait to see the fireworks, when mr Grey realizes Ana is  happy dating Todd. He helped her adopt her daughter and Angelina really loves Todd. He dotes on her and Ana. Too bad Christian didn't hold onto Ana when he had her.
