Hyewon left at 4 am in the morning as a nurse went inside Eunbi's room as it was time to inject medicine to her IV to get her stable,

She didn't bother to wake anyone up, Yena was asleep on the sofa as she had Yuri inside her arms,

Sakura and Chaeyeon leaning at each other's head, one of them having their eyes slightly opened as they had each other's hand in a knot,

She just wishes that Chaewon wouldn't see her or pop up from nowhere once she goes outside.

Looking back at Eunbi, Hyewon wants to make herself smile for her knowing that if Eunbi was awake right now, she would be scolding her for having a droopy face all day

"How could I smile when you're literally like this bun?"

Hyewon went near Eunbi sweeping away a few strands of hair the girl had in her face, she must've felt so itchy by it

"Promise me you'll wake up okay? I'll wait for you Eun"

Hyewon kissed the olders forehead, as she kept rubbing Eunbi's cold hands,

The covers couldn't cover her hands so she's been holding them since earlier knowing that her girlfriend doesn't like feeling cold

"I'll be back later, wake up okay? I love you"

Hyewon kissed Eunbi's hand before standing up, looking outside the door to see if anyone's there to ruin her escape,

Her escape back to reality as she wants to ask it a couple of things that's been stuck in her head for hours now.

Seeing the sun slowly rise up as Hyewon walked through the uncrowded streets of Seoul as it seems like winter had finally subsided,

She had her gaze in front of her, seeing a couple of buildings opening for the day like how they were when she would fetch Eunbi after exchanging a shift with someone as she's so selfish she doesn't mind covering for someone she's not even close with,

Seeing some vehicles show up the street, Hyewon wishes she didn't encourage Eunbi to go back to school,
even if it means that she wouldn't be a doctor,

She wishes she never let her enter that car knowing it would end up like this, the love of her life lying in a bed, unconscious as she has multiple tubes stuck to her veins,

Them being the source of Eunbi's basic needs for hours, bruises all over her body and bandages over wounds that seems to hurt Hyewon too,

She just wants her home back, and it makes her furious why this suddenly happened to her after all the hard ships they've passed.

Hyewon ended up by Han River, sitting on the bare grass, some snow in the process of melting as the grass feels wet yet it doesn't make Hyewon's bum soak in water,

She watched the sun rise slowly, taking her time reminiscing so many moments in such little time it could even set a new record,

From how Eunbi made her turn into a such different person than what Hyewon was back then, meeting new people, knowing new skills, having new hobbies,

Living like a normal person like how she was back then back when she had her family with her, facing her weaknesses and appreciating her strengths,

Hyewon was full of resentment to anything she can blame it to, she didn't want this to happen to Eunbi, she would never want to see this happen to her.

"Why did it happen huh? Can you at least tell me why?"

Hyewon asked the sun as if it could answer the girl who's slowly drowning in the questions she has in her, she feels so disappointed in herself
