The two are now walking across the streets of Seoul, Eunbi had a huge backpack on her back saying it’s her necessities as Hyewon had the small paper bag full of gifts for her which Eunbi gave,

The two talked about how staying up till 12 was very overrated

“Like you stay up till 12, eat, open presents, then what?”

“You get my point! Thats why me and my family were asleep back then when everyone else was opening gifts, like there’s still tomorrow isn’t it?”

Arriving in front of Hyewon’s place, Eunbi remembered something

“Can we go to the rooftop later?” Hyewon snapped her head towards Eunbi, her eyes big as hoop earrings her face tensed as her mouth opened but can’t push a word out,

“What? Too cold?”

“What rooftop?”

“You didn’t know that there’s a rooftop in your apartment building?”

“There’s a rooftop in my apartment building?!”

“Yes, but we need to tell the guard that we are going up before going up, it’s for safety purposes I think”

Eunbi looked at Hyewon who she found funny as she looked like she really didn’t know that there’s a rooftop yet she can’t accept that there is one at the same time wants to go up there

“Let’s go?”

Hyewon and Eunbi were walking down the hall, passing by numerous other apartments,

Arriving in front of Hyewon’s unit, Hyewon faced Eunbi as she covered the door with her body

“Right, I need you to wear this” out of her pocket was a green handkerchief,

“What? Why?”

Eunbi never liked the idea of being blindfolded, it brings back unwanted memories, so she really doesn’t want to wear it,

Seeing Eunbi scared by a simple handkerchief, Hyewon immediately became worried

“O-oh I’m not going to- You know what just close your eyes then I’ll guide you to the bedroom, read the paper in there okay?”

“What? Why the bedroom? What’s happening?” Hyewon held both of her hands, looking Eunbi right in the eyes as she talked about what’s going to happen,

“I’m not going to hurt you, while you were at your place earlier, I fixed the kitchen making something out of scratch and I want to surprise you, so could you close your eyes for me?”

“You promise?”

“I promise, I would never hurt you for my own good” hearing it from Hyewon herself felt different to Eunbi, even she doubts that Hyewon will ever do something like that

Eunbi closed her eyes, feeling something warm come closer to her face, she closed her eyes tighter wishing what she thinks would not happen,

Feeling something against her neck, she opened her eyes to see Hyewon’s head on it, her arms now around her waist

“I thought you were- “

”Thank you for trusting me” Hyewon nuzzled deeper into Eunbi’s neck just lying there as she held her waist

Eunbi felt something inside her open up, she never heard the words thank you in a while now, and to hear it from Hyewon itself,

It felt different for her, it was like she was floating on the clouds or something, Eunbi brought her arms up to hug Hyewon too, savoring the moment as no one or anything could make them stop, but a person coming out a door would do.
