Grieving Soul

Darkness consumes me
Sadness sorrounds me
And all of the negativity
Loves to be with me
If with a better chance
That I'll be able to surpass
This life's circles,
Will I be able to last?
Doors shutting
Windows closing
Eyes crying
Pain's striking
If with a better chance
That I still get to smile
And pretend that I'm fine
Will they be able to know that I lie?
Heart's breaking
Soul's grieving
With tough feelings
And no one's saving
If with a better chance
That I have someone in life
And they'll lend me time
Will I be able to feel at ease at last?
Now, on the corner
My mind's craving for an answer
Still, life is getting darker
However,
I still wish that I am able to conquer
