Colt looked at the three people as they were walking towards them, but he couldn't recognise them. Gale noticed the other group of people and asked 8-bit if he knew who they were.
"They are the ones I saw before. The ones who need our help." 8-bit and the others approached them.
"Hello. I'm Colt.", Colt introduced himself and then his friends, "Who are you?"
"I'm 8-bi and these are Gale and Lou. We came from the Snowtel. We're here to help you." Replied 8-bit.
"Why should we trust you?" Said Mortis skeptically.
"Because we're your only hope. We want to stop Mr. Paananen as much as you do." Replied 8-bit.
"Who's Mr. Paananen?" Asked Shelly.
"Ilkka Paananen is the one who's behind all the plans of the Snowtel. He creates the starr-swabs and experiments on people." Started 8-bit.
"And who are you?"
"I'm... I was the computer of the hotel."
"And we worked there." Added Gale.
"Is Paananen the one who kidnaps children; who kidnapped my daughter?" Exclaimed Pam. She was relieved, yet anxious now that she knew what exactly was going on. Gale nodded.
"Then, we should go there! To save them." Exclaimed Colt. In spite of the fact that he knew that bursting into the hotel was an insane plan, he wanted to inspire confidence and hope throughout his friends.
"I'm afraid that's impossible...", replied 8-bit, "All the 'prisoners' have been transferred into maximum-security cells. No human can break in." Colt was trying to think of another plan, when Nani approached them.
"Maybe I can break in!", she said and everyone looked at her curiously. What could Nani do to get in the maximum-security cells?, "I can use my Peep to sneakily teleport in the hotel." Continued Nani when a small eye-shaped robot appeared, hovering over Nani.
"Nani, your lens are damaged, you won't be able to see anything." Observed Pam, although it was obvious that she liked the new plan.
"Maybe I can guide her!", replied 8-bit, "I can wirelessly connect with Nani and show her the way inside the hotel."
"The hotel, though, is full of doctors and Brawlers. It'll be difficult for her to act without getting caught..." Noticed Crow. Immediately, Gale looked at the bird and moved closer to him slowly. Can it be true?
"Crow... Is it you?" Asked Gale and teared up.
"Gale?" Exclaimed Crow.
"I thought you... You're here! What happened?" Said Gale. He was really excited to reunite with the bird he met back then when he worked at the Starr corporation. He was eager for learning what happened to him after the experiments and how ended up in the Starr Park. Crow had now remembered everything: about Ilkka, Gale, the experiments. He felt as if he was born again; not as a new person, but as a full and more complete version of himself. He was now ready to speak the truth:
"I think you deserve to know the truth.", started Crow, "About two months later, after you saved us, Ilkka found me. He trusted me and told me his plans about the Starr Park, the experiments he wanted to perform, everything. At first, I admit that I was thinking about it. I wanted to take part. He then brought me here to show me the park. However, when we were at the mutation laboratories, everything changed. I recalled every experiment Ilkka and I went through, all the pain we went though. I didn't want to cause the same pain to other people. I tried to reason with him, but he wouldn't change his mind. All I remember after that is just a weird guy that beat me up. Maybe that's how I ended up being mind-controlled." It was the first time for Crow to tell anyone what had happened to him. Yet, he was grateful to have been found by Colt and Shelly in the desert and to be talking to Gale again after all this time. Perhaps, it was Gale and Crow's reunion that made it sure that the two groups could trust each other. Although the others hadn't really understood what was going on with Crow and Gale, it was obvious to them that they could count on Gale, 8-bit and Lou.
"Shall we start?" Exclaimed 8-bit. Nani approached and he connected with her.
"Did it work?" Asked Nani, who apparently didn't know if she got connected or not.
"Yes. Now, I'll be able to guide you inside the hotel." Nani prepared her pal Peep and put it in motion.
"She'll be okay, right?" Asked Pan anxiously and used her inhaler. Her voice was calm but it was obvious that she was nervous about the plan. 8-bit looked at her, nodded, but avoided answering.
