She promised she'd come back! How could she leave her sister? Jessie's feelings about Nani's death were a horrible mixture of bad emotions. She, first and foremost, felt sad about it. Nani was her sister and her best friend. She had always been there for her, since she was born. Her mom had built her to take care of her daughter while she's away, but Nani did more than cook and clean things up. They'd play chess together, they'd work on projects together, they'd watch TV together. Nani had been homeschooling Jessie since the age of six (after that, Jessie was old enough to absorb every single piece of information she'd come across on her own). The worst part was that Jessie -at least when she unintentionally recalled Nani's last moments- blamed herself for what happened. Her eyes teared up. She had been sitting on a wet bench alone, when Penny approached and sat next to her.
"I'm sorry..." She hesitantly tried to comfort Jessie, but wasn't sure what people do in situations like this. As the captain of a crew full of robots, she never encountered the loss of a loved one. Jessie looked at her friend and forced herself not to cry, snuffling through her nose.

"Is it ready?" Asked Gale when 8-bit finished preparing the radio.
"Yes, we're ready to start the broadcast." Replied 8-bit and got out of the room. They'd placed the radio in a small shed on the deck of the ship, so it can have good radio reception. Gale moved closer to the radio. He grabbed the microphone and wiped away his sweat from his forehead. What am I even gonna say? He had that weird feeling; he thought he was going to betray his boss, Mr. Paananen, even though he truly wanted to participate in the fight against his plan. He had to, after all the customers he sent to Paananen's hands. He pressed the red button to start the broadcast.
"Hello... Hi..." He cleared his throat. "It's time for you people to know something... About what's really going on in this world." He started shaking. What if his boss was listening to this broadcast at the moment? "Um... I'm Gale, I work.. worked.. in the Snowtel. To everyone listening that got the free ticket.. don't go there! There's something bad.. something evil happening in that hotel." Gale started explaining everything he learnt from 8-bit the last couple of hours. "That's why they give out tickets.. you gotta get in for free to take place in the penguin's experiments. Don't trust the penguin and don't trust people with yellow suits and stars. Stay tuned in this frequency and safe.. stay safe.." Gale nervously stopped the broadcast and sat on a chair. His legs were hurting really bad this time. He'd forgotten to take his painkillers when he left the hotel.

The others were resting in the main room. After all they'd been through, its fishy smell wasn't a problem anymore.
"Y’all be lovin’ the sour apples flavor!" Exclaimed Lou and gave each one of them a cone of sour apple ice-cream. It was, indeed, delicious.
"Thank you Lou!" Said Piper and gave a small kiss on the robot's forehead. The door opened behind them. It was Gale entering the room slowly.
"How did it go, big man?" Asked Colt, full of confidence. Gale wasn't so convinced, on the other hand.
"Time will show..."
Gale was right; the team had no means to make sure the broadcast was reaching the wide audience of the park, which made them constantly doubt about the project's success. 8-bit, nonetheless, had seen something promising in their attempt. Attacking Paananen's plans, while staying out of danger and preventing people from partaking in the experiments; the computer felt like this was a calculated move.

With his best Brawlers having escaped, the Showdown arena remained empty for the time being. As it appeared, Paananen's experiments yielded greater results when tested on children, since their body could more easily adapt to the mutating process. Besides Max and El Primo, the rest of the subjects were still at the infantile stages of the experiments, which hindered the penguin's plans by a lot. His footsteps were the only noise that was made at the last floor, entering the elevator to supervise the upper levels, now that Gale was no longer there. He missed his old friend and Griff, the robot he had hired to replace him, definitely didn't keep him the same company. At least all Griff wanted from him was some cash and, thus, wouldn't mind working for an evil corporation, if that meant he would be paid generously. When he arrived at the first floor, Mr. Paananen was surprised the revolving doors of the hotel weren't as busy spinning around for new people to get in and out as they usually are, especially during the weekend. He approached Griff's desk and asked about the lack of new people.
"Bookings have dropped massively, sir. We only had two new customers in the last week. I can plot a graph depicting the decrease in the hotel's activity, but that'll cost more, sir."
"No, I don't want your stupid graph!" The penguin rolled his eyes. "I want you to find out why no-one visits the hotel anymore." Ordered the boss and left in annoyance. Griff had no intention to be the employee of the day. In fact, he had mess around with the camera that had view of his desk, so that he could get away with not doing his job. As of now, he sat back at his chair and turned the radio on to listen to his favorite show "Pawn Stars".
"Ha! Losers don't know how to negotiate..!" He exclaimed upon hearing some dude named Dynamike trading a handful of gems from the Gem Mountain for just 10.000 coins. While surfing around the channels, he ended up in a weird frequency.

"... where he does experiments with people.. he does experiments with kids... don't go over to the Snowtel, for your own safety..."

Griff jumped off from his chair. He had just found out why the hotel was less crowded than never. "Bet I can make some more money out of that information..!" He grinned widely and used the desk's phone to call Mr. Paananen upstairs.
