"GEORGE!" Dream yelled.

George jumped, the sudden yelling startled him. "W-What?" he stuttered, his heart racing from the small jump scare.

Dream chuckled "You were like completely out of it for a good few minutes." Dream still chuckling and smiling.

He was? He didn't even realise.

"So did you want to go to that party?" Dream asked once again now that George was paying attention.

"Yeah, sure why not." George replied, he didn't see any harm in going to a party but he didn't exactly want to go either.

George was so confused as to why he was suddenly feeling like this. Then again, he had always felt like this, but it had never been this strong and most of the time he'd block it out, it was easier to block out because he never had to see Dream's face, in person.

"I'm going to go and take a shower then, i'll be back." Dream left the room, heading towards the bathroom.

It gave George time to think. Everything was just so sudden, so confusing. He didn't really know how to react.

***

A few hours passed and it was later in the day, around 10pm. George and Dream had been chilling on the couch watching TV and on their phones, waiting for time to pass.

"You ready Georgie?" Dream suddenly broke the silence. It was an awkward silence though, it was comfortable. George enjoyed his presence.

"Hm?" George looked up from his phone, confused. He wasn't paying attention to Dream or the time. That's a lie. He hadn't been paying attention to the time but he was definitely paying attention to Dream. He hardly took his eyes off him.

"To go to the party, are you ready?" Dream chuckled at George's confusion.

"Yeah i think so." George was starting to regret agreeing to go to the party, he wanted to stay home. He wasn't exactly the most social person, he never went to parties.

Dream looked at George and starting laughing, he tried to hide it with his hands, he failed miserably.

"What's so funny?" George smiled.

"Nothing nothing. It's just that not many people show up to parties still in their pyjamas." Dream managed to form a sentence through his giggles.

"Oh shut up." George chuckled, then he stood up walking to his bedroom to get dressed.

A few minutes passed, George had no clue what to wear. He put on a white tee and threw it off again within a few seconds. He walked out the room in only his sweatpants and stormed into the living room wear Dream was.

"Dream i don't go to parties. I have no clue what to wear!" George said in a jokingly yet serious tone.

Dream was facing the TV. He started chuckling, he turned around to see a shirtless George in the middle of the living room. Dream's face went completely red, George noticed.

"Why you blushing Dream?" George laughed, teasing Dream.

"Shut up. I'm not. Just wear something casual." Dream quickly turned back around, trying to hide his red face.

Around 10 minutes later George returned from the bedroom and entered the living room where Dream was sat down, waiting patiently for George.

"I'm ready." George said

Dream turned around "Okay. Let's go." Dream smiled, he grabbed his car keys and they both walked to the car.

***

The drive was pretty silent. George was sat there, his leg was shaking and he was clearly nervous. Dream had noticed. He grabbed George's hand, not loosing eye contact from the road and said "You okay Georgie?" He sounded concerned, probably because he was. George definitely didn't look excited.

"I'm just a bit nervous. I've never really been to a proper party before." George replied. The fact that Dream still had hold of his hand didn't make his nerves go down a bit, however they changed from being nervous about the party to being nervous about Dream holding his hand.

"You'll be okay. I'll be there, anytime you want to leave let me know. Okay?" Dream smiled and let go of George's hand, returning it to the wheel.

Those words made butterflies swarm in George's stomach. Dream cared, and George loved it. I mean, he only cared because he's his best friend right? That thought cause George's stomach to sink, he didn't know why, but it just did.

"We're here!" Dream said enthusiastically. He jumped out the car and walked over to George's side and opened the car door for him.

"Thank you." George said, trying to hide his obviously red face.

Dream smiled, he grabbed George's hand and led him inside.

"I'm going to get us something to drink." Dream wandered off and George was stood there. Alone. He hated it. The party made him anxious enough, Dream leaving him alone sure didn't help.

His breathing was shaky and he was biting his finger nails. He felt a hand touch his shoulder and he quickly turned around, a boy who he did not know was stood there.

"Here." The boy smiled and handed George a drink. "You look nervous." The boy said after a moment of silence.

"Yeah, parties aren't really my thing." George smiled and looked down at his drink. He had never really had alcohol before, but he wanted to fit in and what was the harm in trying it anyways?

The boy had walked away shortly after, leaving George alone once again. He had drank one or two drinks, maybe more, he wasn't really taking much notice. He felt a lot better, probably because the alcohol made him forget about being anxious.

George was walking through the house when he saw Dream. Dream was stood in the corner of the kitchen with a drink in his hand and two girls beside him. Dream was clearly uncomfortable as both girls were being very touchy and flirty.

George was definitely very intoxicated. He wasn't really thinking. He walked over to where Dream was. "Can you leave him alone?" George said directly to the girls.

Dream stared at George. He could clearly tell that George was heavily intoxicated.

"What's it to you?" One of the girls said, giving George a very judgmental look.

The next thing George said was something he'd probably regret in the morning. But right at this moment, he didn't care.

"Well he is my boyfriend." George said. The girls then gave a really shocked look.

"But he isn't-" The girls were cut off. George cupped Dream's cheek, he moved his face to face him. The boys were making direct eye contact, there faces extremely close, he could feel Dream's warm breath on his face.

He leant up and kissed Dream. Both girls watching in shock, before George grabbed Dream's hand and dragged him away. "Let's go home." George said.
