She parked the bike but kept the keys. She had to find another way of transport. It wouldn't take Pierce long to find out that Natasha's bike was missing, and he would go look for it. She left the helmet with the bike too. She zipped down the jacket to get some air. The weather was warm, but she couldn't lose to much of the suit. She didn't want anyone to recognize her.
She was far enough away from New York, so she could take her time, finding another transport. She didn't have much money on her. She was scared that they would trace her card so she couldn't use that.
She didn't know where to look for her sister. S.H.I.E.L.D.S told that they got her into a save house, but she didn't know where and it was not like she could ask them. So, she decided to try the last city she lived in.
Her father had moved them to Philly right after her mother died. She wasn't comfortable with the thought of going back home, but she didn't know where else to look.
She walked to the far end of the parking lot. An old Mustang was standing alone. It was dirty and she wasn't sure that it would work. She walked up close broke the window with her elbow. No alarm went on. She opened the door and brushed the glass out on the ground. She sat down and found the wires, under the steering wheel. She got it to turn on. She looked one last time around the parking lot before she drove off. She begged that no one would report it stolen in the next couple of hours.
-----
She drove into the state of Pennsylvania feeling a pressure in her chest. Even though Philly was right next to New York, she hadn't set her foot in the city for a long time.
She looked out the window and saw the city she grew up in. The places she had been hiding. Her school. The airport. She parked behind Northwood Cemetery and took a deep breath before walking out the car.
She'd never asked about her father, so she didn't know if he still lived here. She hoped he didn't. She had decided on never seeing him again. But now she didn't have any choice. She needed to find Sia. She needed to know that she was okay.
She walked up to 19th street. West Oak Lane looked like itself. Not much had changed. She walked up to the house. It looked as bad as it did when she lived here.
She didn't stop to think. She knew if she stayed in the driveway too long, she would lose courage, or someone might spot her. She walked up to the door and knocked. She begged that her father wasn't living here anymore.
An older woman opened the door. She smiled.
"What can I do for you honey?" She asked and looked around to see if she was alone.
"I am sorry to disturb you ma'am, but I used to live here." She didn't know what else to say. She hadn't been living here for a long time.
"Oh, are you Mr. [y/l/n]'s daughter?" She asked. It ran cold down her spine. She had never called him Mr. before. Sir, tons of times, but she didn't see him as a Mr. More like a monster.
"I am," she tried to smile.
"We were sorry to hear what happened to him. He was such a good man." She told. [Y/n] couldn't believe what she was hearing. A good man? Were they talking about the same person?
"What do you mean?" She didn't want to say too much about him, but she needed to hear what she meant with 'what happened to him'.
"His heart attack of course. We felt so bad when he died. All alone in this house." She looked inside. [Y/n] felt like a stone left her chest. He was gone. He couldn't hurt her anymore. "Didn't you know?" The lady looked at her judgmentally.
"My father and I haven't spoken in a long time." Was all she said. "Is he buried at the cemetery?" She looked at the direction she came from. The woman nodded. "Thank you, ma'am." She said and began to walk away.
"If you see his other daughter, tell her we are sorry." The lady said before closing the door. [Y/n] stopped. His other daughter? Did that mean they knew Sia? How was that even possible? She had never met the woman before, which meant that Sia wouldn't have either. Not if she got into a save house when S.H.I.E.L.D.S got her.
She thought about going back and ask what she meant, but she couldn't control her legs. They just walked towards the cemetery. It took her a while, but she found her father's grave.
Beloved father.
She looked at the words on the stone. Beloved father? To whom? Because he wasn't a beloved father to her or her sister. She looked on the grass in front of the stone. A bouquet of withered flowers was lying in the grass. Who would want to give him flowers? He had been dead for a couple of years now. She couldn't think of anyone who wanted to visit him.
Sia? Her name came to mind. Maybe she wanted to show him her respect, which he didn't deserve. She got down to the flowers and picked them up. Peonies. She remembered them from home. Her mother always got fresh peonies.
Something shiny got her attention. She putted down the flowers and picked up the necklace. She felt like she had seen it before. The golden heart where hollow. She opened the lock and looked inside. There were two pictures. One of Sia and one of her. She began to get confused. Whose necklace was this? And why was it there? Who putted it there?
She kept thinking of Sia when it hit her. She knew where she had seen the necklace. It was her mother's. She took out her file to look at the picture inside, but when she turned to the page, it was gone. She started to panic. She had lost the picture. If Pierce found it, it wouldn't take him long to realize that she was looking for Sia.
She got up. She had to get away from here. She had to get out of the city, but she wasn't sure where to go.
She walked to the nearest store and bought a burner phone. She had looked at his file long enough to remember the number. It rang three times, before someone picked up.
"Steve?" She said in a hurry. "I need your help."
