27. Steve's POV

"Rogers, I think you need to see this," Tony said. Steve got up and walked next to Tony who had a screen in his hand. [Y/n] was sitting tied to a chair. She was blindfolded. A man was smiling at the camera before he walked over and hit [y/n] hard in the face.

"Awake, are we?" He asked. Steve looked at Tony with pain in his face.

"Hydra?" He asked.

"Sounds like it," Tony answered.

"Take of the blindfold and see for yourself," [y/n] answered. Wanda walked up next to Steve to see.

"Looks like a classroom. We are going the right place." She said and looked up at Steve. He nodded. The man moved his head closer to [y/n].

"Confident? I like that." Steve didn't want to look, but he couldn't take his eyes off [y/n].

"If you want to come closer you might want to brush your teeth first." Steve couldn't see her as the man was standing in front of her.

"I like her," Clint noticed. Steve looked at Clint shaking his head.

"What?" He asked.

"I am just saying," Clint said to his defense before sitting down next to Nat. The man had hit her again. Steve felt a pain in his chest every time she got hurt.

"Watch what you are saying." He moved the blindfold and moved a bit so Steve could see her. She looked confused, but she looked alright. Besides from the hitting it didn't look like they had hurt her much. Yet.

"Why am I here?" She asked.

"Why ruin the surprise?" He answered and Steve could hear him laughing with a cold laughter.

"What surprise?" The man hit her again but [y/n] was tough. She didn't freak out. She tried to stay calm. Steve could see blood coming from her lip. He looked away and Wanda placed her hand on his upper arm, trying to comfort him.

"Why did they send this to us?" Wanda asked as the man on the camera sat down.

"They want us to come," Tony said, still looking at the film. "Why else would he tell us where they are?" Steve looked back at the film as the man walked behind her and pulled down her hair.

"You don't get to learn anything," the man laughed. Steve saw he was holding something in the other hand.

"What's that?" He asked and pointed it out. Tony took a deep breath and looked at Steve.

"A fire poker," he said with pain in his voice. Steve felt his heart sink.

"But darling, you won't go anywhere." The man said and walked to the fireplace. Steve felt like he couldn't breathe as the man walked back with the glowing red piece of iron. He pulled her hair, making her tilt her head to the side.

"Maybe we should turn it off?" Wanda suggested as the man began to talk.

"I heard you got a new boyfriend," Steve looked at Tony.

"What?" [y/n] said.

"A certain superhero?" The man was laughing. "Who would have thought. Captain America with a girl?"

"How does he know?" Steve asked. They hadn't been together for long and most of the time it was inside.

"What did you do?" [y/n] snapped.

"Don't get angry," Steve whispered to the movie, as if she could hear him.

"Oh, nothing yet. But I am sure he will get mad when he sees this." [Y/n] looked at the camera. Steve felt as she was looking directly at him.
